WHAT: Rose is hitting up the festivities a little early with a little Masquerade Tea Party! Food, drinks, and music! Everyone is invited so mix and mingle and party till you can't party no more. Or at least until teachers shoo the students off to sleep.


With much planning and preparation involved, is delighted to see that everything is going according to plan for the party. She has left invitations tacked to boards so many can see and has even went to the network to remind everyone. She was excited to say the least. It was her first time setting up a party. She wasn't her mom and didn't have the experience, but she likes to think that she did a pretty good job getting everything together while juggling everything else.

Setting Up

[Rose can be found in Professor Vantas' classroom setting up as soon as classes were done for the day. She's still in her robes as she runs around the classroom, slowly decorating the classroom for the festivities to come in a few hours. There's a lot of work to do. All the tables for the refreshments need to be set up and Rose still needs to go back and get them. While this was meant to be a small tea party of some sorts, Rose took some liberties for the sake of the student populace to make it less refined.

Those who volunteered to help may mix and mingle as they get the party ready.]

[Jake shows up early!! He may have even beaten Rose to the designated classroom, still in his robes and sort of fidgety. When she shows up and starts bustling around, he immediately moves to help her in whatever she's doing. He, too, is still in his robes.]

Um... Is there something specific I could do? Rather than just following you around and regularly stepping directly in your path, haha.

[Augh augh augh AUGH Jake is nervous as hell! Sure, Rose already knew he was coming as a gangster to match her, BUT MOST OF THE SCHOOL DIDN'T. And now he felt silly. So he slunk in, fiddling with his tie. Hopefully, with his mask hiding his face and his hat on, people wouldn't know it was him!]

[Not necessarily likely, since he's probably the tallest first year in the school.]

Refreshments

[There's a hell lot of tea. Rose will be manning the tea kettles and tea pots to make sure there's at least a reasonable amount of hot water available. But she's also got other beverages like pumpkin juice and other things in case tea does not suit your fancy.

There's all kinds of sweets and snacks set up so eat away till your hearts content!]

[Victoria stands by the tea, her eyes looking over the entire selection, feeling very spoilt for choice. Not too sure what she should pick.]

Music + Dancing

[The music club is playing for you live. You should feel honored. Rose will also periodically be playing her violin with them when she's not neck deep in everything else.

The floor has been cleared so everyone can dance. It's not quite the Great Hall or the hugest room for this, but it's decent enough.]

[Standing at the edge of the dance floor, bobbing up and down with an excitable grin on her face, wanting to dance but no knowing if she should just go out or no.]

Costume Contest

[Time to judge those costumes punks. Bring it on. And don't fight because someone won and you didn't.

Let's try to keep the roughing up on a down low and just be fab.]

Clean Up

[Whew! Better get this classroom cleaned up. Can't go trashing a teacher's classroom and expect to get away with it. For those who are generous to help clean up, it's time to tidy up!
