Last Friday night

WHO: Rose Lalonde and the school!
TONE: Party rockin'
RATING: PG-13 for language; Subject to change via tom foolery
WHEN: October 26th
WHERE: Salvador Vantas' classroom
WHAT: Rose is hitting up the festivities a little early with a little Masquerade Tea Party! Food, drinks, and music! Everyone is invited so mix and mingle and party till you can't party no more. Or at least until teachers shoo the students off to sleep.


With much planning and preparation involved, is delighted to see that everything is going according to plan for the party. She has left invitations tacked to boards so many can see and has even went to the network to remind everyone. She was excited to say the least. It was her first time setting up a party. She wasn't her mom and didn't have the experience, but she likes to think that she did a pretty good job getting everything together while juggling everything else.

Happy Halloween Sorting Hat. Party rock till you can't rock no more.

Setting Up

[Rose can be found in Professor Vantas' classroom setting up as soon as classes were done for the day. She's still in her robes as she runs around the classroom, slowly decorating the classroom for the festivities to come in a few hours. There's a lot of work to do. All the tables for the refreshments need to be set up and Rose still needs to go back and get them. While this was meant to be a small tea party of some sorts, Rose took some liberties for the sake of the student populace to make it less refined.

[Jake shows up early!! He may have even beaten Rose to the designated classroom, still in his robes and sort of fidgety. When she shows up and starts bustling around, he immediately moves to help her in whatever she's doing. He, too, is still in his robes.]

Um... Is there something specific I could do? Rather than just following you around and regularly stepping directly in your path, haha.

How good are you with your spellcasting? We need to get these streamers hung, so if you can do that, it would be very much appreciated. If not, you can set up the tables so we can put a table cloth on it and start putting the food up on it.

Erm, I'd say approximately average for a first year that's technically only been casting for about two months? I figure I can handle hanging some streamers, though. [He unearths his wand, and fires the smile right back to her.]

It should be simple enough if you've gone over wingardium leviosa. [Rose is carrying trays with snacks on them.] I'm sure you'll be fine.
