WHAT: Rose is hitting up the festivities a little early with a little Masquerade Tea Party! Food, drinks, and music! Everyone is invited so mix and mingle and party till you can't party no more. Or at least until teachers shoo the students off to sleep.


With much planning and preparation involved, is delighted to see that everything is going according to plan for the party. She has left invitations tacked to boards so many can see and has even went to the network to remind everyone. She was excited to say the least. It was her first time setting up a party. She wasn't her mom and didn't have the experience, but she likes to think that she did a pretty good job getting everything together while juggling everything else.

[There's a hell lot of tea. Rose will be manning the tea kettles and tea pots to make sure there's at least a reasonable amount of hot water available. But she's also got other beverages like pumpkin juice and other things in case tea does not suit your fancy.

There's all kinds of sweets and snacks set up so eat away till your hearts content!]

[Victoria stands by the tea, her eyes looking over the entire selection, feeling very spoilt for choice. Not too sure what she should pick.]

[Thor is going to point at the pumpkin juice for her.]

Delicious! You should try it!

[Victoria blinks at his hand and then looks back up at Thor, feeling short all of a sudden.]

Oh, thank you for your suggestion. However I was thinking of one of the tea flavours.

But, pumpkin juice is rather delicious.

It is!

[A sudden gasp.] Do you think they have pumpkin tea??

[Salman is rather cheerful himself, enjoying the festivities so far. He always loves a good party, small or big. He's about to get some tea himself when he runs into her.]

Namaste, Victoria, how are you tonight?

[Looking at Salman she gives him a polite smile and nod.]

Namaste, Kumar. I'm feeling a tad silly, however I'm quite well. And you seem to be enjoying yourself, as always.

Anytime there is a get together with a good atmosphere and tea, it's a good time to relax.

Silly... how so? You look rather lovely tonight if I say so myself.

Are you having trouble with choices? I can try and recommend things or give my opinion on what is available. I've tastes most of these, if not all of them.

[Rose smiles politely at her.]

[Not expecting Roses appearance, Victoria looks up at her a little too quickly]

Oh! Lalonde, sorry. Yes, just a touch there's just so many lovely choices I just don't know where to start.

[She just chuckles lightly.]

If you aren't really feeling too adventurous, the Earl Grey Creme tea. I particularly like that one.

I usually always have most of these stocked in my trunk. If you ever wish to arrange a small get together of a sort, I would be more than happy to share with you privately.

[Steve is feeling more then a little awkward, and he is going to deal with it by nibbling on a cookie and watching the party unfold. Yep, this is good enough for him.]

[Guess who else is feeling out of place? He's just there to help Rose out and keep an eye out on things, but being the only teacher and (seemingly) oldest man in the room doesn't give him much chance for conversation with the younger and hyper students. So he's just been chilling and watching the scene with a cup of coffee and some biscuits on a plate.]

[He's surprised to see Coulson of all teachers there, but he smiles at the teacher, fiddling with the glass in his hand.]

Are you just here to watch?

[They're both wallflowers, aren't they? Coulson just returns the smile.]

In a way. I'm here to make sure everything goes smoothly and assist Ms Lalonde in whatever matters she requires, including set-up and clean-up.

[Tony deliberately leans past him for some pumpkin juice.]

You know the point of a masquerade party is to do more than put on a mask, right?

[He gives him one of his more pleasant grins, before taking a drink.]

[He steps aside to give him better access to the juice, taking a bite out of a cookie.]

I can't dance, and I don't have anything else to use as a costume.

[Picks up a glass and raises and gives Steve a slight look before taking a drink.]

If it helps, I only know because I'm forced to go to balls and galas.

[He then picks up a strawberry and gestures at Steve with it.]

That's the great thing about masquerades, all you need is a suit and a mask. You could have asked me, I could have leant you one of mine. Or at least leant you something less scholastic.

[He then eats the strawberry]

[Even the best musician in the world needs a break between performances, which is exactly what Marcie is doing. She's currently sprawled out very unlady like in a chair, head tilted back with a small sigh as she cradles a glass of pumpkin juice in her hands before she takes a chance to glance around the room, taking a sip from her glass.]

I hope you aren't overworking yourself, Marceline. I really appreciate you performing, but I want you to enjoy yourself while you're here, too.

[Rose has a teacake on a small plate as she approaches.]

[Stands to the side with a cup of chai, sipping calmly while looking around him.]

[Comes up behind him, resting his chin on his shoulder.]

You know you're meant to dress up, right?

[Glances to the side at Tony.]

You know you're not meant to sneak up on people, right?

[Rose walks up to Banner.] I guess dressing up isn't really your thing?

[Glances at her and smiles apologetically.]

I didn't have anything fancy in my trunk and I felt bad asking for my parents to get me something... I hope you don't mind?
