WHERE: Salvador Vantas' classroom
WHAT: Rose is hitting up the festivities a little early with a little Masquerade Tea Party! Food, drinks, and music! Everyone is invited so mix and mingle and party till you can't party no more. Or at least until teachers shoo the students off to sleep.


With much planning and preparation involved, is delighted to see that everything is going according to plan for the party. She has left invitations tacked to boards so many can see and has even went to the network to remind everyone. She was excited to say the least. It was her first time setting up a party. She wasn't her mom and didn't have the experience, but she likes to think that she did a pretty good job getting everything together while juggling everything else.

Happy Halloween Sorting Hat. Party rock till you can't rock no more.

[Pours a cup of the marshmallow and chocolate tea for Tony and get's a cup of chai for himself.]

[Takes the cup, and can't resist breathing it in deeply before taking a tentative sip.]

Hey. This tastes nothing like the tea at Puddyfoots.

I think Puddfyfoots make their own blends.

[Sips chai and has a happy sigh of enjoyment.]

[Drinks his tea, looking quite pleased with it from under the mask.]

[Chuckles and refills Tony's cup before heading towards the chairs and tables set up to one side of the dance floor.]

[He follows him easily, after pinching a few scones. Tony really does a lot of Bruce following, I'm noticing. He slips into one of the chairs, getting comfortable before biting into one of the scones.]

Hmm, not bad.

[Sits and sips at tea, smiling at Tony's response.]

Yeah?

Yeah, could have a bit more sugar though

[He keeps eating it before drinking more of the tea]

Hey, I'm just saying, it's almost tastes like biscuits back home.

Aren't they more or less the same thing, just that they use vegetable shortening?

There's less sugar in biscuits. Well, last time I had a biscuit anyway.

You should've taken some jam with your scone then, if you wanted more sweetness to it.

Jam? Really? I thought that was only a thing in movies.

We're in the country of preserves - of course they'd use jam on scones. [Rolls eyes.]

Hey, you never know just because it's what they're known for doesn't mean it's a think everyone does. I mean. We're American. We don't own guns.

[Eats more of his scone]

We're not old enough to own guns - my parents keep a shotgun in the house.

Really? Dad never had one, at least if he did it was kept somewhere even I couldn't find. Which really sort of says something. I guess he just used magic.

But if you were old enough. Would you?

Not for myself, but for anyone who happened to be living with me, yes. Loaded with silver bullets. [Says it all calmly]

[Tony exhales slowly and gives Bruce a withering look.]

You really need to stop worrying about other people. If they're in your life, they know how to work around your... Fleas.

[Ignores the look, sipping his tea calmly.]

I'm sure they do, but it never hurts to give them a mode of defence as a last resort.

No one is ever going to shoot you.

[Has a very definite tone in his voice.]

Oh not at random - um, unless you're Dean but let's not talk to him about furry problems. I meant to make sure people staying with me are safe.

Believe me, if they live with you. They're safe. I know you... And him. Well enough by now.
