Greece is the word
WHO: ALL OF THE TEACHERS and their broods
TONE: FUN!?!?
RATING: M for Mature.
WHEN: 4th April to 7th April (ish)
WHERE: Murdoc's home in Greece
WHAT: A teacher meeting held in Greece! What could possibly go wrong?
STATUS: Ongoing.
[Murdoc isn't sure why the responsibility of hosting the meeting fell to him, honestly it already sounds like a terrible idea. He doubts any of them will either come up with sound lesson plans, work cohesively as a team or leave his home any wiser and more mature than they were when they entered. To him, it seems as if a couple of people just like the idea of visiting Greece. However, it's not as if he's going to pass up the chance to show off! And it's not like he doesn't have room to spare.
He's not going to be all that happy to have people there, but he's not a bad host. Everyone has a room and there's food and booze provided. Not to mention the fact that the beach and town are within walking distance, but why on earth would you want to live such a sick crib? Of course, given that he's a pureblood there's absolutely no technology or reception, but there's a pool and a near endless amount of rooms filled with nifty shit!
Regardless, if you aren't a kid you sure as hell aren't here to explore, so quit touching his stuff and get working.]

Ah, Dolores, there you are. I was going to go down to the beach, perhaps go swimming now that things have quieted down - would you care to join me?

Of course, Rhys also being there was a plus... even if she was the only one who appeared to think it so. When he approaches her, she's enjoying the warm night air, and she smiles up at him when he speaks.]
I was beginning to think that you were not here. [A joke, of course.. how could she possibly miss him? She offers him her hand.] I'd love to.

At this particular moment, he's just coming up through the shallows, pushing his soaked hair out of his eyes and squinting down the beach to look for his towel, and the shades he left with them. Between the messy hair and the absent shades, it's a completely different image than he presents at school.]

Should anyone be tagging along with her, she'd no doubt welcome the company.. Shopping is much more fun if there's someone to talk to.]

[He starts off, derailing into a completely different subject than what they were just talking about.]
Alright, so you and I both know I hate conformity and shit. Always goin' against the grain, doing my own thing. But I've been thinking that I need some outfits that won't make M-- people, cringe. Y'know what I mean?
[He means Murdoc.]
I figure now's a good a time as any, what with my head of house promotion thing, right? So... Yeah. You think you could help me with that, maybe?

But you know who else enjoys the beach? His dog. He's dropped down to sit in the sand for the moment, playing a rousing game of fetch with his overly enthusiastic german shepherd. It seems fairly boring for him, up until the dog leaps onto his lap and starts licking his face gleefully. That's what you get for being gone most of the year, Murdoc.]

Anyway, he stops when he sees what happens and can't help staring a bit. It's...well. It's frankly really cute. Dave approaches cautiously, not sure how well the German shepherd is with strangers.]

Teen beach party is go!
[So, after he's certain he's told everyone(except maybe Eridan, cuz he doesn't need his annoying little bro ruining this), he's gonna make trips throughout the rest of the day setting everything up. Towels, some of the pool chairs, of course the alcohol, and a few other select things. He even went into town to get a few things for entertainment, despite thinking himself to be all the entertainment anyone would ever need. Especially since he's going to be bringing his guitar he got for his birthday! Play some good tunes for these fine folks and what not.]
[Once it starts to get dark, those who have decided to take Cronus up on the invitation will find him down on the beach, where he said the party would be located. He's got chairs set up, even a little bonfire going on. There's certainly a few open tubs with assorted bottles of alcohol, obviously enchanted to keep them cool. Cronus himself is sitting in one of the chairs, wearing nothing but his fabulous swimwear, strumming on his guitar as he waits. Not playing anything in particular, and even when some string of notes starts to sound like some sort of melody, it's like he gets bored of it and starts fussing with something else. Fucking musicians, amirite? As anyone approaches, he stops to greet them with that ever-present cheery smile, (overly)friendly as can be!]
((ooc: Feel free to either reply to Cronus, or even have your own sub-threads within it! Closed to the kids, no adults allowed to ruin the fun!))
no subject
In all honesty, though, he's not at all sure why he's not very interested in alcohol. He just kind of...isn't. Especially not with Cronus around.]
