Greece is the word
WHO: ALL OF THE TEACHERS and their broods
TONE: FUN!?!?
RATING: M for Mature.
WHEN: 4th April to 7th April (ish)
WHERE: Murdoc's home in Greece
WHAT: A teacher meeting held in Greece! What could possibly go wrong?
STATUS: Ongoing.
[Murdoc isn't sure why the responsibility of hosting the meeting fell to him, honestly it already sounds like a terrible idea. He doubts any of them will either come up with sound lesson plans, work cohesively as a team or leave his home any wiser and more mature than they were when they entered. To him, it seems as if a couple of people just like the idea of visiting Greece. However, it's not as if he's going to pass up the chance to show off! And it's not like he doesn't have room to spare.
He's not going to be all that happy to have people there, but he's not a bad host. Everyone has a room and there's food and booze provided. Not to mention the fact that the beach and town are within walking distance, but why on earth would you want to live such a sick crib? Of course, given that he's a pureblood there's absolutely no technology or reception, but there's a pool and a near endless amount of rooms filled with nifty shit!
Regardless, if you aren't a kid you sure as hell aren't here to explore, so quit touching his stuff and get working.]

But you know who else enjoys the beach? His dog. He's dropped down to sit in the sand for the moment, playing a rousing game of fetch with his overly enthusiastic german shepherd. It seems fairly boring for him, up until the dog leaps onto his lap and starts licking his face gleefully. That's what you get for being gone most of the year, Murdoc.]
Oi- Sea biscuit! Down!

Oi- That's my ear you're barkin' in, dopey dog. [He gives the furball a small shove, urging him to bound over to Kurloz so he can give him a curious sniff, Murdoc following after him.]
Makara. [A nod.]
no subject
What is his name?
no subject
Err... [He regrets calling it this sometimes.] Sea biscuit. Bickie for short, but he prefers his full name.
no subject
Cute. Does he like swimming?
no subject
Ah, yes. He's a keen swimmer. [A small smile.] Hard not to be when you're so close to the beach.
no subject
[Drops down to his knees and lavishes the dog with scratches and pats all over.]
no subject
[He watches as the dog just soaks up all of that attention, Kurloz may even get a face lick.]
Do you like dogs, Makara?
no subject
[Gives the happy puppy as much adoring attention as he can, grinning happily at his reactions.]

When Gamzee approaches, Sea Biscuit is going to drop down into a sitting position and let out a few protective barks.]
Bickie.. [Murdoc warns the dog, causing him to hush.] Hello, Makara.

Barkbeast? [He shakes his head, giving him a funny look.] Ah, yes. He's a good dog, when he wants to be. [He gives his dog a side stare before looking back at Gamzee.] I trust you're behavin'?
no subject
[Yeah, it's somehow been burned into his brain that Murdoc is worried Gamzee's going to start pursuing Eridan somehow, no matter what the older man has said to the contrary.]
no subject
[Oops. Maybe he shouldn't have said that. He feels a bit guilty and it shows in his sheepish smile.] Too soon?
no subject
no subject
Why don't you sit down? [He sits back down and pats the sand next to him.]

no subject
So you've had a good trip, then?
no subject
Anyway, he stops when he sees what happens and can't help staring a bit. It's...well. It's frankly really cute. Dave approaches cautiously, not sure how well the German shepherd is with strangers.]
Mornin', Prof. Didn't expect to see you out this early.
no subject
He wipes quickly at his face once he notices Dave, trying to act super casual about this.]
Likewise, actually. I hadn't thought many of you were early risers. [Bro sleeps into forever when he wants to..] I was out for a jog. It's nice this time of day. [And by nice he means cold.] Were you out for a walk?
no subject
Normally we're not. [Dave's not exactly keen on saying why. He nods at the question.] Not really in a mood to jog, but a walk sounded pretty good.
[He can't help glancing at the dog.]
Didn't know you owned a dog.
no subject
Can't sleep? [Murdoc can't help but be curious. After all, Cronus could have been bothering him or something horrible and awkward like that..]
Ah, yes. He's been keepin' to himself, mostly. [He gives him a fond pat on the head before nudging him, indicating that he can bound over and sniff Dave's feet. Which he does.
Murdoc stands, following after the dog slowly.]
I'm sure he'd appreciate a walk, if you're interested.
