Wake me up when September ends

WHERE: Ravenclaw 6th year boys dormitory
WHAT: After having spent a while as a girl only to then be subjected to the full moon weekend, Bruce is too wrecked to bother with classes and has opted to stay in the dorm for the Tuesday hiding in bed.
STATUS: [ONGOING]

Perhaps it was thanks to the rampaging hormones that had only just barely begun to settle before full moon, or because he was stressed over Hulk telling him to DIE (loudly at that, thankfully the goat couldn't speak any more) or people dropping dead and others coming back to life.

Whatever the cause, full moon had been especially nightmarish this time and Bruce could barely bring himself to open his eyes the next day, let alone drag himself back to his dorms from the Shrieking Shack before sunrise.

So it had come to be that he'd just given up on being a good student and had spent the entire day dead to the world in bed. It wasn't until close to dinner time that he even stirred, opting to stay curled up in bed with his drapes drawn and examining his new scars, making sure none were bleeding or potentially infected.

He paused, swallowing his mouthful before frowning with confusion. "What, being a wolf? I've explained that to you before."

[arrogantalloy]

"No, yeah. I know. But I mean being a girl then a wolf. That's got to be. Eventful"

Tony leans back against one of the beds posts as he continues to watch Bruce.

"...... Confusing, to put it mildly," he mumbled, glancing down at the food and giving up, licking his fingers clean. "Especially because I went from being a girl to a male wolf - one moment exotic levels of estrogen and all the wrong hormones swimming around my system only to be completely switched the next."

[arrogantalloy]

He can't help but imagine this, and snorts in amusement.

"Ah, no. That does sound pretty mild when it comes to confusion, for sure."

He dips his finger into the gravy then licks it off.

"Is there anything else you need?"

Bruce found himself watching Tony's finger a bit more closely than he should, and quickly shook his head, glancing down at the plate instead. "No, not at all. Thanks for the food."

[arrogantalloy]

Tony gave a dismissive shrug.

"You're always making sure I'm fed, so really. I'm just getting around to returning the favor"

He stretches a bit the settles himself getting comfortable against the beds pillar.

With a quiet chuckle he leaned back on his pillows and headboard, closing his eyes. "So how was the day?"

[arrogantalloy]

"With out you? Pretty boring actually."

He kicks off his shoes then knocks them off the bed.

"Aw that's sweet," he answered, rolling his eyes and not believing it for a second.

[arrogantalloy]

Tony pulls a slight face.

"Roll your eyes all you want, but it's true."

Because ultimately Tony enjoys his classes more when Bruce is there to be smart with him.

Bruce paused and smiled warmly at that, bumping his foot against Tony's in acknowledgement. "Ah well, I'll be going to classes tomorrow so that's good right?"

[arrogantalloy]

"That would be great, really"

Tony grins and bumps him back.

He laughed and ducked his head. "Have you done your homework or are you going to be a brat about being a genius at classes tomorrow?"

[arrogantalloy]

"I'm not a brat. But it is all done."

He grins.

"But I'm still pointing out that I'm a genius, yeah."

[greenmoonrising]

He shook his head and snorted. "You are a brat, especially if you're going to showing off your genius at everyone."

[arrogantalloy]

"Uh, yeah. That's not showing off. That's just me being me."

He pulls a face at Bruce.

"Keep making that face and you'll be stuck with it and the girls won't like you anymore."

[arrogantalloy]

"Please, if they like my money they'll put up with my face."

Tony rolls his eyes a little then flops down along the foot of the bed, looking up at Bruce with Puppy eyes.

"Is this a better look?"

He burst out laughing and kicked at Tony half-heartedly. "Oh God no put it away, put it away now!"

[arrogantalloy]

Tony grabs his ankle to keep him from being kicked.

"Why? Girls love this face. Who doesn't love this face?"

Puppy dogs up even more.

His response was a pillow thrown at his face.

[arrogantalloy]

There's an ouf from behind the pillow as it hits Tony. Then he laughs, while grabbing the pillow.

"I'd say good aim, but if you missed from there. I'd be worried about you."

"At least it made that face go away," he snorted, settling back down against his spare pillow.

[arrogantalloy]

Tony smirks at Bruce.

"Please, who would want to get away from this face?"

[greenmoonrising]

"See, that face is fine," he answered, rolling his eyes.
