Wake me up when September ends

WHERE: Ravenclaw 6th year boys dormitory
WHAT: After having spent a while as a girl only to then be subjected to the full moon weekend, Bruce is too wrecked to bother with classes and has opted to stay in the dorm for the Tuesday hiding in bed.
STATUS: [ONGOING]

Perhaps it was thanks to the rampaging hormones that had only just barely begun to settle before full moon, or because he was stressed over Hulk telling him to DIE (loudly at that, thankfully the goat couldn't speak any more) or people dropping dead and others coming back to life.

Whatever the cause, full moon had been especially nightmarish this time and Bruce could barely bring himself to open his eyes the next day, let alone drag himself back to his dorms from the Shrieking Shack before sunrise.

So it had come to be that he'd just given up on being a good student and had spent the entire day dead to the world in bed. It wasn't until close to dinner time that he even stirred, opting to stay curled up in bed with his drapes drawn and examining his new scars, making sure none were bleeding or potentially infected.

"You know. I think that came out so much kinkier than you expected it to."

"Only if you or Sherlock interested in guy's underwear. Thankfully you're both either straight or asexual, so I'm pretty sure I'm safe."

[arrogantalloy]

"I wouldn't be so sure on that one."

He had meant that in regards to Sherlock, having not thought to mention himself.

"What, you suddenly started noticing how attractive you find Steve?" he snorted, shaking his head and hunkering under the covers himself.

[arrogantalloy]

Goes still for a moment then looks at Bruce.

"Wait, I'm noticing what now?"

[greenmoonrising]

Bruce lifts his head and blinks down at him. "What? You turned him into a girl and liked what you saw, didn't you?"

[arrogantalloy]

"I. That. Hey, he. That was ... He's a guy."

[greenmoonrising]

He stares down at him with an unreadable expression and shrugs. "Yeah, he is huh? Never mind, forget I said anything."

[arrogantalloy]

Frowns at the reaction and then sits up to look at him.

"Okay, I've said something wrong, somehow. Haven't I?"

"Hm?" He blinks and shakes his head, smiling wryly. "No, it's nothing. Seriously though, go to bed."

[arrogantalloy]

"No, you went all cold on me there. What, do you want me interested in Steve?"

He shifts a little, tilting his head.

"It doesn't matter, and of course not. Don't be ridiculous," he sighs, shaking his head and hunkering down under the covers again.

[arrogantalloy]

Pulling a face he moves and crawls over him to look down at him.

[greenmoonrising]

"Tony..." says it warningly, putting glasses on bedside table.

[arrogantalloy]

"Bruce"

He returns with a flippant tone, just looking down at him.

[greenmoonrising]

"If you don't back off I'm going to kick you." Hides face under blankets.

[arrogantalloy]

"I'm not even doing anything. And no you wouldn't."

He smirks slightly, staring at the sheeted form of Bruce's head.

[greenmoonrising]

"I will!" he mutters, curling up more. "I'm tired and want to sleep, sheesh."

[arrogantalloy]

"You're always tired. Hey. Can you just lo... You know get you're head out from under there."

Tony doesn't move from his crawled on top of position.

[greenmoonrising]

He takes a while, but eventually he pulls down the blankets enough to show his eyes staring up at Tony. "What?"

[arrogantalloy]

Stares at Bruce for a long moment, he licks his lips. Thinking back to the last time he was this close to him. Then sits up and rubs the back of his neck. Suddenly feeling shy.

"Uh, actually, nothing."

[greenmoonrising]

Bruce stares up at him with wide eyes when Tony licks his lips, cheeks turning red. When the other boy pulls away he breathes a sigh of relief and asks, face still half-covered by the blankets, "Right uh... we never... talked about... that did we?"

[arrogantalloy]

After some awkward fidgeting, Tony slips off the bed completely and goes to his own, cleaning things off his bed, putting them on shelves, under his bed or in the chest at the bottom of his bed, or on it. As he does this his answers Bruce but doesn't look at him.

"That was just a moment, A thing. There's nothing to really talk about."

Bruce just lies there, staring up at the ceiling and refusing to stare after Tony like some pining girl. "Oh. Okay," is all he mumbles, trying not to sound too put out by that response.

[arrogantalloy]

His shoulders sag when he hears Bruce's mumbling. And he fidgets with a spark plug.

"Look, it was a really crazy moment. And I took advantage of it like the ass I am. It wasn't my finest moment and I really think I confused you. I know I completely confused the situation. And I'm probably making it work by hanging off you all the time. I know I- ... So I should give you space, right?"

He stares at what's still on his bed, starting to wonder if he should just go and spend the night downstairs.
