Wake me up when September ends
WHO: Bruce and anyone who can get in the dorms
TONE: Fatigue and post-event winding down
RATING: PG-13 for potential language
WHEN: 2 October
WHERE: Ravenclaw 6th year boys dormitory
WHAT: After having spent a while as a girl only to then be subjected to the full moon weekend, Bruce is too wrecked to bother with classes and has opted to stay in the dorm for the Tuesday hiding in bed.
STATUS: [ONGOING]
Perhaps it was thanks to the rampaging hormones that had only just barely begun to settle before full moon, or because he was stressed over Hulk telling him to DIE (loudly at that, thankfully the goat couldn't speak any more) or people dropping dead and others coming back to life.
Whatever the cause, full moon had been especially nightmarish this time and Bruce could barely bring himself to open his eyes the next day, let alone drag himself back to his dorms from the Shrieking Shack before sunrise.
So it had come to be that he'd just given up on being a good student and had spent the entire day dead to the world in bed. It wasn't until close to dinner time that he even stirred, opting to stay curled up in bed with his drapes drawn and examining his new scars, making sure none were bleeding or potentially infected.

"Uh, yeah, sure? Shouldn't we be okay?"
To be honest, Tony was concerned that what he did has made Bruce uncomfortable around him. Tony had personally liked the kiss, but he still couldn't get past certain facts;
One being that Bruce had been a girl when he'd done it, a crying girl at that. Even though he had said that while as a girl, Bruce still looked just like Bruce, he had -as far as he was concerned- manipulated the situation to get that kiss. He knew he was doing it, yet still let it happen.
Second, for as long as Tony had known, he had never remotely felt like kissing a guy, it had always been girls for him, always. So this happening was strange. But still, while he had been with Bruce as a girl. All he could think about was the fact Maxim had his hands all over her when he approached them, and something about that really hadn't sat right with him.
Third, which to Tony was possibly the most important. Bruce was his best friend. You don't to that to best friends. Right?

"You know, if you want to talk about it. I guess we can. I mean, it's not like either of us sound tired."

Bruce's fingers curl into his blankets but he doesn't move otherwise.

He stops, not entirely sure if he should even continue that sentence or not.

Tony sits up, and looks over at Bruce's bed, and what he can see of Bruce.
"Are you kidding me? You're the one apologising? This is seriously the wrong way around here."
He looks around, to gather some thoughts.
"I'm the assclown that pushed you into it."

"You didn't push me into anything." He sighs and adjusts his position on his pillow. "Look, can we just... pretend it never happened?"

He rubs his face with his hand then runs it through his hair.

He flops back onto the bed and stares up.

He stops, not really sure if he should say what he's thinking right now or not.
"Wasn't like that."

He sighs a little. Not liking the situation one bit.

"Yeah, or something."

He's not even really all that tired, but he's made Bruce feel needlessly awkward enough tonight. And even he knows when to leave well enough alone.
