WHAT: Idle thoughts strike back and someone's mommy's back form the dead as a ghost. WHOOPS.

[ Today had been a relatively... normal? Sort of. Normal...ish. Normal enough for Eridan himself, not normal as in all-around... day, for Eridan. It was a new day, much different from the prior one that he had to experience. And all-around... pleasant? Yeah, pleasant.

It's not as if he wasn't aware of the weird happenings going on, Eridan was well aware. His friends were changing back into things they were, things were happening that no one could explain... there was something up. The boy just didn't understand what it was, and even if it plagued his mind he wasn't really trying to put himself out in the open to find out what was going on. He might if he was that kind of guy but he wasn't so oh well.

Class was out and he had had a bit of time before his next, so instead of hurrying his butt along he decided to take a leisurely stroll down the hall. As he walked, he began to think a little bit and reflect on the previous day. He was really happy for the turn-out for certain, even if things like that really exhausted him mentally. He couldn't deal with feelings on that level, man, especially with how frequent this has been popping up. Either way, he thought... and thought. And just maybe it was an idle thought he had as he turned his ring, that frequent wishing of "hey what if I had the chance to talk to her again and not in my imagination while I dreamed? that would be pretty great." But he had no idea that the thought he was having would actually happen.

[It... has been a long week. Hell, it's been a long month. ~~A long lifetime? He's too young to say that right now~~. What with the fights he's been in and the unexpected visitor to show up, but the consequences that stemmed from him showing up. God what else could happen? ... We all know what happened after that.

It was incredibly scary to him, and that's an understatement to be sure. He couldn't believe the extremes that it brought him to and everything else like that. He didn't want to fight with his dad, he didn't want to fight about that, and he didn't want to think about that. At least with his previous entry there happened to be a change in him. To be honest, it was starting to weigh on him. Everyone who had talked some sense into him actually gave way for a bit of a turn-around. He was still a bit miffed at the entire situation, but at least at this point his mind was't completely "He is a bad person for what he did I hate him completely, ugh." and more... "You're a dumb, you did a dumb, why do you exist" in a way.

And to make matters worse today was not a particularly good day. It was the one day of the year that bummed him out so bad, and instead of actually staying around people and talking about it, he's spending time after his classes out by himself. One could tell by the way he had been walking that day and just his overall vibe that he didn't want to be messed with today. Thankfully, most of them were able to oblige to this silent request, but it still made him wish to just go away from people for the day. Maybe he was just taking a walk or something, but it didn't seem very likely by the way that he stood there at the edge, looking out at the horizon, just rather deep in thought. He's messed up a lot this year, and he's finally getting some time to reflect on that. In fact, he probably wouldn't even notice if someone he had been pretty much ignoring for the last week or so were to come walking on down the bridge. ]

[GATHER AROUND CHILDREN it's a warm summer day and the lake is perfect for diving into your sudden but inevitable deaths. You should all be dressed in your swimming trunks (which you clearly have don't even lie) because Murdoc sure is. He's determined to conduct this in the best manner he can, though he wasn't quite expecting the turn out to be so large. People who can swim are welcome to become his assistants because he could probably use the help.]

[Jake will just be standing, rather inconspicuously outside of the Great Hall, shortly after dinner has ended, waiting for other students to come and join him for their late night adventures and what not. It isn't past curfew so being out, wandering the castle isn't anything he can get in trouble for. Besides, it's only shortly after dinner ended. He could always say he's waiting for his friends to get back from the toilet before they all head off for the evening. It was fool proof. After all, this is Jake English we're talking about.
