WHAT: Easter is in the air and eggs are in your hair! Except not really, but there are eggs everywhere and it is your job to find them.
STATUS: Ongoing! Use whichever format strikes your fancy.

[It's finally time to kick off the egg hunt! You're paired up and the eggs are hidden, so go off and find those eggs! They are hidden literally everywhere, even in places you may not expect them to be. So be sure to look everywhere, just try not to get in too much trouble! Friendly competition is one thing, just don't punch anyone in the face trying to get an egg.

[Eggs are scattered throughout the courtyard! Some are more visible than others, but you will have to look hard for the golden eggs here!]

[So. Egg hunting. Not something he ever expected to get roped into doing, but hey. He guesses he can't complain. It's a little childish, but considering there's way worse he could be doing right now, he'll take it.]

If I don't win this goddamn thing then I'm gonna be real pissed. They're eggs for cryin' out loud. How hard could they be to find?

[Nick honestly has no good reason to be here aside from the fact that he wants to take the eggs and try to sell them on the outside. Not that he knows they're worthless, of course.

He thinks he can sort of see a glimmer of something up in the distance, so he's going to nudge at Cronus with his elbow and point up at it.]

Hey, Greaser? Go long. [Nudge nudge.]

[Tony, having decided to do the challenge alone steps out onto the court yard to look for eggs.

It doesn't take him long to find two of them, an orange one and a white one. He pockets the orange one with out a thought but looks at the white one for a moment.]

Wow, way to be extravagant with the colours...

[Shaking his head he then pockets it too.

After walking and looking around for a bit, he realises that something isn't entirely right, as if the world is suddenly shrinking all around him. After a loud ruffling of material and a sneeze, Tony opens his eyes and tires to look around, only to find himself buried in his clothes.]

Uh, okay?

[Anyone coming across the pile of Tony's clothes will find a Pine Marten climbing out, a hot rod red, Pine Marten.]

Classrooms

[Even classrooms weren't spared. Your professor might not be too pleased at you rooting around, but they've been told to suck it up and let you have your fun.]

[Jane has already managed to get herself into a bit of a pickle. Or, well. In this case. A carrot.

She found an orange egg under a chair in one of the classrooms and, of course, immediately shrank until all that's visible in her pile of clothes is a pair of grey ears sticking out through the collar of her shirt. When she finally manages to wiggle out from the pile, it's clear her bright blue eyes carried over into her bunny form, but beyond that she's all rabbit for the next couple hours. Something she kind of wishes she'd known going in. But oh well.

She's making the most of it by nosing around the classrooms and hallways nearby, sniffing around the edges of the walls in search of bunny-sized holes she might be able to get into now that she wouldn't otherwise.]

Oh, Merl--

[Did you happen to just see Arthur Kirkland slide through a wall? Yes, yes you did. He's not looking terribly comfortable about it, either. Slightly translucent, he stumbles back through the wall he just fell walked through and carefully attempts to touch it with the tips of his fingers.. which, of course, go straight through.

He shudders.]

There are so many things wrong about this.. bloody hell..

Classrooms

[If there was eggs in the classrooms, it was only fair the teachers got the first pick over the rooms. At least it's fair in Charlotte's eyes, and it was easy to block the entry trapdoor to the divination room.

She turns around to Murdoc once she has, putting hands on her hips and giving him a slightly excited smile.]

The old team, huh? Just like old times, isn't it?

[And now it's time to make a mess of her classroom that she will later make Murdoc clean up]

Quidditch Pitch

[Got a broom? Feel free to check the stands, or fly high for a bird's eye view. Who knows, maybe there's a golden egg charmed to fly like the Snitch. You'll have to find out yourself!]

[Given that Thor is a quidditch extraordinaire, taking to the pitch seems like a fantastic idea. He's accio'd his broom into his hands, but he's peering around the stands before he takes flight.]

Oi! There is a patch of coloured eggs over here! [He HAD been calling out for Dave, but he now realises he probably shouldn't have been so loud about it.]

Hurry hurry!! [He does his best attempt at a whisper.]

[The other professors might not mind you rooting around in their classrooms, but Filch is still grump. Good luck finding eggs with him around.]

[Feferi hasn't had a lot of success finding any eggs so far, it took her awhile just to found a few, she doesn't know if it's been her luck or not. But she is really hoping today that both, Mituna and her would actually find something.

It's while walking around the dungeons that Feferi finally spots a egg.]


"Hey, Mituna!! I found one of the eggs, come over here!!"

[Kurloz isn't intent on getting eggs for himself - he figures if he finds some, great, if not, he won't cry himself to sleep. So when he spots the bright, sunshine yellow egg peeking out from a partially open broom-closet, how can he resist?

He tucks it in his pocket and keeps walking, frowning with confusion when he realizes he's shrinking... and getting younger, judging by his hands...

When he finally stops and stares at his hands, patting his face with horror, there's a four year-old Kurloz standing in the dungeons with his too-big robes hanging off him in a heap.]

Moaning Myrtle's Bathroom

[So you may have heard there were eggs in the girl's lavatory that just so happens to be haunted by Moaning Myrtle. Do you dare venture into her domain?]

[So... John's conflicted. On one hand, his team needs all the eggs they can get, because winning and stuff.

But on the other hand, girls' bathroom. Haunted girls bathroom at that. Decisions, decisions.]

[If you happen to see something glinting in the water, that's because the Squid is feeling like participating, too! So see if you can tickle that egg from it's tentacles, or just scout around the edge of the lake to look for eggs there!]

Breakfast in the Great Hall

[Oh no! There's been a mishap caused by Peeves. The Poltergeist planted some magical eggs in the kitchen and the House Elves, not knowing any better, used them to prepare breakfast! So be careful what you eat, your pancakes might cause a random magical effect at the breakfast table!]

Room of Requirement

[So if you're lucky, you might have stumbled onto this room during the event whilst under the effects of the phase egg! Your character probably doesn't know how to get the door to appear, but stumbling upon it while waking through a wall is perfectly legit.

Pass the news around, band together to figure out it's secrets, or just wonder about the weird room you stumbled on with no visible door on the outside. The possibilities are endless.]

Hogsmeade

[Since the Easter Holidays are just around the corner, there's also an impromptu Hogsmeade visit allowed for everyone in the castle, not just third years and up!

Because guess what-

There are eggs in Hogsmeade, too! So while you're shopping to prepare for the Easter holidays, don't forget to look around for eggs, too!]
