WHAT: Easter is in the air and eggs are in your hair! Except not really, but there are eggs everywhere and it is your job to find them.

[It's finally time to kick off the egg hunt! You're paired up and the eggs are hidden, so go off and find those eggs! They are hidden literally everywhere, even in places you may not expect them to be. So be sure to look everywhere, just try not to get in too much trouble! Friendly competition is one thing, just don't punch anyone in the face trying to get an egg.

No, it actually is a bird. A very flamboyant bird to match Dirk's flamboyant hair. The only difference is that this bird has bright red eyes.

He's also covered in Dirk's breakfast after crashing gracelessly into it. Dave shakes himself, sending food flying from his feathers, and looks both annoyed and unimpressed.]

[That was unexpected. It's a good thing none of the food got on Dirk, or he wouldn't have waited long enough to figure out that this was his brother.

As it is, this isn't any bird he's seen around the school before, it doesn't have a letter tied to its leg, and he's not expecting mail anyway, so it's probably an egg like the one that affected John.]

[Rude, Dirk. He'd have made sure to get his revenge if that had happened.

Dave gives him a look. Dude. He's got nothing to "write" with and, sadly, this is not a bird that can talk. Otherwise he would have more fun with it.]

The look isn't a very informative answer, but considering all the red on this bird, and the eyes, he can take an educated guess.]

[After John got turned into a cat during their egg hunt, Dirk can recognize which egg effect this is, but he doesn't connect it to his breakfast so easily.]

What the hell are you doing looking for eggs right now?

[Dave takes a loose feather in his beak and starts to sketchily "write" on Dirk's hand.]

Thor's idea. Do not look in a mirror. You will freak.

[It takes a moment for Dirk to piece together what Dave is saying, but when he does, he freezes.]

... Mind telling me why, exactly, I'll freak?

[He just flies up to roost on Dirk's shoulder and shakes his head. Nope, he's not spilling.]

Bro, now I have to look.

[Except that there's not really any way for him to look, so now he's just going to get to his feet. Hopefully Dave's got a good grip on his shoulder.]

[No problem, Dave expects Dirk to move. He might have to dig in a little to keep his balance if Dirk does anything unexpected, but he's careful to not make the dude bleed.]

[Dave is a great birdbro. In the meantime, Dirk's just headed as far as the hallway, since there are plenty of suits of armor there that can serve as good enough mirrors.

And, as soon as he catches sight of himself in one, he stops dead.]

[Being suddenly knocked over by your not-a-bird brother isn't the most pleasant experience, to say the least. At least he doesn't catch a glimpse of anything.]

You leave your shades and wand anywhere, bro?

They should be wherever my clothes were when I went and changed into a flamboyant bird. I can't wait for this hunt to be over, if only to spare me from this happening again.

[Dirk casts the spell again, in order to summon both the wand and the robes, neither of which take long to arrive, fortunately. Dirk inspects the shades for scratches before handing them over.]
