WHAT: Rose is hitting up the festivities a little early with a little Masquerade Tea Party! Food, drinks, and music! Everyone is invited so mix and mingle and party till you can't party no more. Or at least until teachers shoo the students off to sleep.


With much planning and preparation involved, is delighted to see that everything is going according to plan for the party. She has left invitations tacked to boards so many can see and has even went to the network to remind everyone. She was excited to say the least. It was her first time setting up a party. She wasn't her mom and didn't have the experience, but she likes to think that she did a pretty good job getting everything together while juggling everything else.

Sneaking implies I was quiet on purpose. Seriously, not even a tie?

The only time you're quiet is when you're doing it on purpose. It's a masquerade ball, not a charity fundraiser - somehow I don't think I'm going to be looked down on for not wearing a tie.

Maybe you just weren't listening hard enough for me then?

Never said anything about being looked down on, you'd just look more in the spirit if you did.

It's the only nice shirt I have - mom insisted I have one at school just in case.

Not that this isn't a nice shirt I mean it is. But. Yeah.

I'm saying the shirt is good. But if this is all you have that's 'nice' then what are you going to wear to the Yule Ball?

I'm not planning on going to the Yule Ball.

Because it's a great time to show yourself off? And have a good time, color and movement. You know?

[Rose walks up to Banner.] I guess dressing up isn't really your thing?

[Glances at her and smiles apologetically.]

I didn't have anything fancy in my trunk and I felt bad asking for my parents to get me something... I hope you don't mind?

Of course I don't mind. [She knows that she's lucky in that regard. If she wanted something, she could get it with ease.]

You have a mask and that's all that is really needed. And as long as you're enjoying yourself, I have no reason to be upset.

I'm glad people are enjoying themselves. It makes this whole endeavor with the effort. It would be unfortunate if everyone came only to dislike their stay.

[She grins though.]

I only acquire the best of them.

Unfortunately you'll always find people who only enjoy themselves when they're complaining.

There are a lot who do spend a copious amount of time complaining for the sake of it. I a blissfully ignorant of them right now.

I can get you a list of where I get my teas. That wouldn't be a problem at all.

That'd be wonderful, thanks. [Smiles and ducks his head.] I'm not so good with shops so I always get lost trying to find good places for tea.

It took some testing out. I can tell you now that all the places I visited weren't exactly the best. Rest assured, I recommend every single place that I'll give you.

I suppose shopping tends to be a girl thing that we are miraculously good at sometimes.
