WHAT:  After this Murdoc realised the children (and staff) of Hogwarts were in dire need of swimming lessons.

[GATHER AROUND CHILDREN it's a warm summer day and the lake is perfect for diving into your sudden but inevitable deaths. You should all be dressed in your swimming trunks (which you clearly have don't even lie) because Murdoc sure is. He's determined to conduct this in the best manner he can, though he wasn't quite expecting the turn out to be so large. People who can swim are welcome to become his assistants because he could probably use the help.]

[She pauses a moment before looking back out over the lake. She knew how much of a prideful person Eridan was, and that had to be a huge hit to his ego. Especially since he lost to a girl. Still, Marceline let out a low whistle, leaning back on her hands.]

Wow. Guess that explains why she was pissed.

[He shakes his head, vision lowering to the dirt below.]

Ended up gettin' a good hit or two on her an' busted her glasses but fuck it all if she didn't release all hell upon me. I can't ewen find my glasses after that happened. I'm so glad I'm not as blind as I could be.

[She reaches over to pinch his ear between her fingers, tugging on it briefly before letting go.]

You didn't say anything that might've offended her or something? I mean I've been eating candied eyeballs around her but I don't get that much of a reaction.

[He flinches to that, because hahaha right after that fight he's still flinching a bit even to the pinch and tug on his ear. When she releases it, he reaches up to rub it.]

Ugh. I bumped into her and told her to watch where she was goin'. She fuckin' flipped out after that. She might still be holdin' onto what I told her ower the journals before school came back.

[Marceline blinks at that before sighing and shaking her head. He could be dense sometimes.]

Eridan, you told a one eyed girl to watch where she was going. Tell me you see something wrong with this picture.

The blind girl can carry herself around better than she can. There's absolutely no excuse, especially whenever she ran into me on the side where she has her eye.

Maybe she does have an excuse. Maybe she's still working on seeing with one eye...what's it called? Depth perception? I think that's it. Terezi has a few years on her. Vriska had this happen to her over a month ago.

Well, she has no excuse to just lash out on me instead of just walkin' away after I told her to watch out. She basically pinned me to the wall, for fuck's sake!

Maybe if you weren't so stubborn you could've avoided being beaten up by a girl.

This entire week's been a bad time as far as I'm concerned. [He sighs as he slowly reclines back, staring to the sky.]

... But I'we been keepin' my nose outta her business, I don't know how I'm bein' stubborn for that.

[Nope. She gives up. She tilts her head back as well before nudging him in the side.]

Hey. Let's go make a dirt castle.

[Good, because this is a losing battle right now. He sits up halfway when nudged, tilting his head.

Well yeah. I'm not here to learn how to swim, that's for sure, and you don't look like you want to swim either.

... You do hawe a point. As much as I'd like to just lay around and not do anythin' right now, that sounds like somethin' I can do.

[She stands, stretching her arms behind her back in a swing.]

It'll probably stick together better than a sand castle would anyway.

[He slowly stands up, still plainly hurting as he stretches. Bad idea, boy. Bad... idea.]

Probably, or go straight to mud which'll be even worst to work with than wet sand. We don't hawe much to do right now though, so it wouldn't be too bad of a loss.

Well we could always use some kind of spell to make the dirt hard or something. At least we're in school and we can use magic.

How did I just forget that... [Slowly he lowers it off his face.] It's... been a long day.

It's easy to forget about when we've spent three months not using it. [She raises her eyebrow] I'm not sure if the trace is still on me since I'm a vampire now. I wasn't game enough to try.

Yeah... Really is. And I certainly understand why you wouldn't think of tryin' though, wouldn't want anymore attention drawn to you, right?

Nah. It's bad enough I told the ministry when I went to file a complaint against Ash. [She scoffs a little.] I left before they could force me to register as a vampire. Like I was going to let them keep tabs on me.

Seriously. Why do they feel the need to keep tabs on people? I mean, according to them I'm not even a person anymore.
