WHERE:  The Lake.
WHAT:  After this Murdoc realised the children (and staff) of Hogwarts were in dire need of swimming lessons.
STATUS: Ongoing

[GATHER AROUND CHILDREN it's a warm summer day and the lake is perfect for diving into your sudden but inevitable deaths. You should all be dressed in your swimming trunks (which you clearly have don't even lie) because Murdoc sure is. He's determined to conduct this in the best manner he can, though he wasn't quite expecting the turn out to be so large. People who can swim are welcome to become his assistants because he could probably use the help.]

[She thinks they're cute! She probably also forgets Karkat's only a year younger half the time it's not her fault that he's so short. But moving away from the cute boardshorts Aranea glances at the water before ahhing softly, getting it straight away]

[He fidgets with the drawstrings of his board shorts, wriggling his toes as he glanced away. The small pudge where his stomach was probably didn't help the idea that he looked younger than what he was, giving him a rather kiddie look. He shuffled a little before speaking.]

[Giving him a warm smile, Aranea puts a hand on his shoulder]

Then it's a good thing you're here. It's better to learn now, in a safe place,then when you desperately need it after all. And really, it's not at all uncommon to not have swimming skills even at your age. So don't worry so much. I'm pretty sure I saw David learning as well, if that helps.

[He crosses his arms over his chest before giving a bit of a smirk when he realizes who she's talking about. It falters after a moment, and he hunches in on himself. Not the first time he wished he was Dave.]

At least Strider's actually trying. I'm just standing here like an idiot.

[She'll just start trying to coax him into the water, holding one of his hands as she leads the way in careful, slow steps]

Well he's only floating so far, from what I've seen. You could catch up easily if you wanted to.

[You'll have to forgive him if he acts a little like a cat when faced with a full body of water. Karkat kind of tugs at the hand holding his, knowing half heartedly that he's probably not going to get out of this.]
