New Year Assemble!

WHAT: Thor wanted their friends together, Tony didn't want to be alone bringing in the New Year.

On New Years Eve, Jarvis has the living room set up for guests with chairs and pillows about with a table off to one side with various chips, soft drinks, and sweets. Music playing from a stereo in the corner.

Come dinner time the dinning room table is full of food and drink to enjoy.

Depending on when people show up, Tony can be found either in the garage messing with his kit car, or in the living room, eyeing off the snacks.

[Steve is there, well, relatively early. He had to be picked up by Jarvis, after all.

He is remarkably impressed by the manor. He's trying not to look like he's impressed, but...Well, he is. He can't help but be a little starry-eyed around all this. He feels horribly out of place, but that's not going to stop him from trying to enjoy time with his friends.

He's being really careful not to touch anything, though, which leaves him standing awkwardly against the living room wall.]

[After rolling his eyes, Tony comes over with two glasses of Soda, offering one to Steve.]

You know. This isn't a fundraiser, or a teacher supervised even. You are allowed to loosen up.

[He gives him an easy smile.]

[patrioticspells]

[Eye roll]

I don't want to break everything. It all looks so...[expensive] nice.

[arrogantalloy]

You? Break something? You can't even break a fever sometimes.

[He gives a slight wiggle of the hand offering the drink to Steve.]

Take it.

[patrioticspells]

[Really, Tony? Steve fixes him with the most withering look he can manage.]

Thanks.

[He takes the drink from him, sniffing it cautiously. He's still wary about wizard foodstuffs.]

[Smooth, Tony. Real smooth.]

All I mean is, there's nothing here that you could break. No one here really could without effort.

[He pauses.]

We both know Thor doesn't count as everyone, right? Also, it's just soda.

[He drinks from his own cup as if to prove it's harmless.]

[brothor]

[Thor arrives on rather good time, his Father had taken him there and had wanted to speak to Jarvis out of curiousity and to warn for Thor being...Thor.

Of course, he arrives making as much noise as an angry goose and he's making a beeline for the snack table. He can talk to everyone else later!!!]

[arrogantalloy]

[Tony looks up from the couch as Thor comes in and looks amused as he heads straight for the snacks.]

Don't they feed you at your house, tons of fun?

[Getting up he comes over to the table, picking up a cup and drinking it.]

[brothor]

Of course they do! They fed me as I left, too! [That doesn't stop him from perusing the snack table, of course.]
Are you really so concerned for my health, Stark? Have I lost weight?

[arrogantalloy]

Concerned yes, but I don't really get the impression you could actually lose the weight you find.

But hey, how was I to know that you dive all snacks like a desperate seagull? Just don't choke, okay Thunder Cake?

[brothor]

I think you'll find all of my weight turns to muscle with time. I know you are envious, but control yourself.

I eat because there is food!

[Natasha is sitting upside down on the couch while watching a foreign film with subtitles. She's not too bored since she has a plate of snacks to keep her entertained.]

[arrogantalloy]

[Tony flops onto the couch from the arm of the chair, rolling his head to look at the TV and steals some of her snacks.]

Why a foreign film?

I like learning about languages, and I wasn't sure which remote to use.

[She hits his hand.]

[arrogantalloy]

Ow, hey. Slapping's rude.

[He goes for the plate again.]

Besides, you just match the remote to the style of the equipment, it's not that hard, I'm sure even Steve could figure it out. What is this even about?

If I can't touch your stuff, you can't touch my stuff.

[Moves it out of his reach.]

We have one remote, so I'm not used to it. It's some sort of thriller.

[brothor]

[Thor is going to thump onto the couch next to her.]

What are we watching?

A thriller, it's fairly good from what I can tell.

[brothor]

A thriller? Fantastic! I love movies with a good scare to them! [Even if it means he'll be up all night for weeks guarding the door.] What have I missed?

Well so far, there's a body found in a closet and a man having an affair.

[Goes onto a balcony for a bit to admire the snowy landscape outside. He's got a mug of hot coffee and a thick blanket to keep him warm, he's good.]

[After talking to the others for a bit, and giving them their presents, Tony went off in search of Bruce. Once he finds him on the balcony he puts his meticulously wrapped gift on a snow-free chair, then comes up to the railing, dusting off the snow from it then leans against it.]

[Blinks up at.] Aren't you cold?

[Thinks back on the shenanigans of the month and smiles a bit when remembering meeting adult Tony.]

Yeah, a bit. You?

[arrogantalloy]

I'll be fine for about 10 minutes.

[Shaking his head as he speaks, then he looks up at Bruce, raising his eyebrow slightly at the smile, almost smiling himself at seeing it.]

It's probably going to be the same as last year. But hey, I'm always hopeful for something interesting happening.

If you get frostbite, I'm laughing at you when we take you to St. Mungo's.

[Holds up one arm with the blanket, offering for Tony to join him under it.] C'mere.
