New Year Assemble!
WHO: Tony Stark, Bruce Banner, Thor Odinson, Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff, and Clint Barton.
TONE: Celebratory
RATING: PG
WHEN: December 31st to the 1st of Janruary.
WHERE: Stark Manor
WHAT: Thor wanted their friends together, Tony didn't want to be alone bringing in the New Year.
Edit: This is what Stark Manor looks like
--
On New Years Eve, Jarvis has the living room set up for guests with chairs and pillows about with a table off to one side with various chips, soft drinks, and sweets. Music playing from a stereo in the corner.
Come dinner time the dinning room table is full of food and drink to enjoy.
Depending on when people show up, Tony can be found either in the garage messing with his kit car, or in the living room, eyeing off the snacks.

He is remarkably impressed by the manor. He's trying not to look like he's impressed, but...Well, he is. He can't help but be a little starry-eyed around all this. He feels horribly out of place, but that's not going to stop him from trying to enjoy time with his friends.
He's being really careful not to touch anything, though, which leaves him standing awkwardly against the living room wall.]

You know. This isn't a fundraiser, or a teacher supervised even. You are allowed to loosen up.
[He gives him an easy smile.]

I don't want to break everything. It all looks so...[expensive] nice.

[He gives a slight wiggle of the hand offering the drink to Steve.]
Take it.

Thanks.
[He takes the drink from him, sniffing it cautiously. He's still wary about wizard foodstuffs.]

All I mean is, there's nothing here that you could break. No one here really could without effort.
[He pauses.]
We both know Thor doesn't count as everyone, right? Also, it's just soda.
[He drinks from his own cup as if to prove it's harmless.]

Do you have everything protected or something? It all looks pretty fragile to me.
[Sighs. He'll take the cup from him anyways.]
Thanks.

Because you can't beat well made things when it comes to muggles.
Speaking of muggle things. Your christmas present is under there.
[Tony gestures to the 10 foot immaculately decorated tree. The only presents still under are things for the bitties. While a couple of boxes are much larger than others, Steve's is a simply decorated, but comfortable size box for any normal person at least, and waits patiently with it's contents for the person who's name is on the tag by the trunk. The shirt itself is far too big for Steve, but as Tony bought it with intent for Steve to wear it, he got it so he could grow into it.]

You have a very, very strange obsession with muggles.
[He looks at the tree, wary. It's twice as tall as he is, and he's pretty sure if anything happened (like a wild, runaway Thor or if Bruce got pissed off) it could crush him to death. He's relieved when the box marked for him is comparatively small, and he can't hide the way his face lights up when he opens the box.]
Oh, wow.

[He drinks more of his soda]
And I got it big on purpose.
Also, it's an appreciation, not obsession. And it's not strange, at least to me, it's just strange because you're a muggle and are used to all this.

He holds the shirt up to himself, smiling at it.]
I'll be sure to let you know when it fits.
And I suppose that's fair enough. I'm sure you'd feel it's strange if I kept talking about wizarding things like they were something completely alien.

Well, if I knew you in our first year, you probably already have.
But hey, you like it so that's good.
