TONE: B - For badass facial wounds
RATING: PG-13 for potential language
WHEN: 26th Monday, morning after the match.
WHERE: THe great Hall
WHAT: Breakfast time and Tony's showing off his bruises and scratches
STATUS: ONGOING


After his most agonising defeat at the hands of those damn pufflehuffs. Even though it was a good game, that's not the point. Tony comes into the great hall in the morning looking rather clean and refreshed despite the massive bruising on his face and scratches that are only just starting to scab over again, as he knocked them open in his sleep. 

It's obvious as he heads to Ravenclaw's table that he hasn't had is injuries seen too. They don't bother him all that much, they only sting when they're touched and he just really is in the mood for waffles so bad he doesn't even notice or care if people could be staring at him.


All in all he doesn't fell that bad that his team didn't win, though he does count it as he wasn't good enough as a captain. He made the decision the second the snitch was caught that he would be a better captain for the next match.

[Coraline is sitting at the table and looking completely miserable as she halfheartedly tries to eat a bowl of cereal. Unlike Tony shes still feeling like a failure of a Seeker. Still sore from her crash she ignores the pain. Whatever. It can be like, her punishment for failure or something. She glances up to see Tony coming over and gives a half smile.]

"..you seem to be coping rather well."

He gives Coraline a grin, then reaches over her and grabs a piece of bacon, then proceeds to chew it.

"I'd be coping better if we had some Original Joe's Pizza here."

He wipes his hands on his trousers, and scans the table for the waffles he was so hungrily after.

She sighs.
"I do miss having GOOD pizza. It's hard finding good places in England let alone the Wizarding world."

She shoves her now-soggy cereal away from her and picks at a piece of toast.
"So...any plans to help us step up our game for next time?

[arrogantalloy]

"English pizza isn't that bad. Just too small, the slices anyway."

He eats another piece of bacon.

"I've got some ideas. But it's all riding on who we're up against next. But for now, we're just going to train more. And I think I'll be conjuring up some wind for it."

"I miss a really good deep dish pizza."

She continues nibbling at the toast.

"That's true too. I think that's a pretty good idea..I wonder if there's a way we can get rain or snow going too? It's getting colder so those are possibilities as well."

Sherlock watched Tony for all of two minutes before relocating to a bench seat near him.

"Well, at least you wear it with pride. Purple suits you."

Glancing at Sherlock as he pours syrup thickly on his three waffles and fruit.

"Well when it's on your face, you can't exactly hide it. So I might as well work with it. And really? I've always thought I'm more of a hot rod red kind of guy."

"If you want hot rod red, you're going to have to go a little harder next time. Split lip and brow should do the trick." Sherlock wasn't bothering with breakfast and just sat, taking up space. "Any particular reason you haven't sought medical attention? Wouldn't want to scar your money maker."

"Wasn't really trying to get Greg to hit, me so I don't think I'll try and encourage any more of that."

He pops a strawberry in his mouth the licks off the syrup from his fingers.

"I don't need to, I'm fine. It's not that bad anyway."

"It's hardly clever to refuse to seek medical attention for your face," Herbert says disdainfully from his spot at the table where he is, like so many of his Housemates, buried nose first in a book. "Do you think it makes you look better or something?"

[arrogantalloy]

He turns his head slowly to regard Herbert with a bored look.

"Better than what? You, because I already had that on you."

He rolls his eyes.

"It's just a scrape, Mood-killington. It'll be gone in a few days. So it's not really worth having someone looking at it"

"Oh, an insult to my appearance, I'v never heard that before." Herbert snorts disdainfully. "And restoratives for bruises are some of the simplest healing spells, but I don't suppose you'd know that."

[arrogantalloy]

"You know, I do know how simple and even common they are. But you know, it's just a scratch and some bruising. It'll go away on it's own."

He flicks a cherry at him.

[Katniss walked by Tony on her way to the Slytherin table and got a good look at the bruise on his face finally.]

Nice bruise, you're lucky that your nose is in one piece.

[Smirks up at her.]

You know, that was one of the first things I made sure to check. Because really, I'm sure any appeal I have would be gone if I had a broken nose.

Yeah, I can't see even you pulling off those white nose bandages.

[arrogantalloy]

Oh, god. Could you imagine me in one of those? Because I'm trying and it's just ending in a shiver.

[Natasha is busy eating her breakfast, chewing on more waffle than necessary but you need to get a healthy start of the day.]

I have to say, you look more rugged and dangerous with your face banged up a bit.

[He gives her a grin as he waffles himself up.]

Just imagine what I'd look like if I also had like a goatee as well. I would look like a movie star, from an action movie I bet.

If you grow one, don't slick your hair back. You'd look like a total creep.

[He runs a hand through his hair and stops at the top, essentially pulling all his hair back.]

Are you saying this isn't a good look for me?

Bruce glanced up from his breakfast and saw Tony's face.

There was a clatter from his fork dropping into his plate and he was up in a flash, striding over to Tony and grabbing him by the arm to pull him out of the Great Hall and for the Hospital Wing.

"You're an idiot," he snarled, eyes flashing green.

Tony only manages to look toward Bruce at the sound of the fork dropping before feeling himself being dragged off.

"Uah? He- C'mo- What are y-"

He manages to find his footing besides Bruce.

"You know, if you're going to keep being rough, I'm going to insist my safe word be Palladium."

As of yet, he has no idea he's being dragged off to get looked at so he easily keeps pace with the other.

"How am I an idiot? Normally I'm only an idiot in the morning when I don't show up for breakfa- Where are we going?"

"Did you even look at yourself in the mirror this morning? I bet you didn't even bother to go see the nurses today!" he all but snarled, not letting up on his grip and continuing to drag Tony to the Hospital Wing.

[arrogantalloy]

"Ow, hey. Palladium, Palladium."

The mention of the nurses causes Tony to plant his feet to stop the moving in a direction he didn't want.

"Kind of hard not to miss it. And it's barely even a flesh wound, just a scratch and bruising. Natasha nearly dislocated bits of her. I don't see you attacking her."
