WHEN: 26th Monday, morning after the match.
WHERE: THe great Hall
WHAT: Breakfast time and Tony's showing off his bruises and scratches
STATUS: ONGOING


After his most agonising defeat at the hands of those damn pufflehuffs. Even though it was a good game, that's not the point. Tony comes into the great hall in the morning looking rather clean and refreshed despite the massive bruising on his face and scratches that are only just starting to scab over again, as he knocked them open in his sleep. 

It's obvious as he heads to Ravenclaw's table that he hasn't had is injuries seen too. They don't bother him all that much, they only sting when they're touched and he just really is in the mood for waffles so bad he doesn't even notice or care if people could be staring at him.


All in all he doesn't fell that bad that his team didn't win, though he does count it as he wasn't good enough as a captain. He made the decision the second the snitch was caught that he would be a better captain for the next match.

"I can function with out it fine, as long as I have something greasy to make up for it."

He chuckles to himself.

"I'm surprised you haven't got a heart condition from how often you clog up your arteries," he answers, rolling his eyes.

"Well I'm sure if you asked everyone, they'd say it all goes to my fat head."

He shrugs.

"Maybe I just have an amazing metabolism, ever think of that? And I do exercise you know."

He starts to sound defensive, let's not forget he is a little vain.

"Yeah, you do and it's beginning to show," he answers with a quiet chuckle, shaking his head and patting Tony's back. "I guess it'll be more obvious when you actually start filling out properly with puberty."

[arrogantalloy]

He can't help but blush a little, which he covers with a frown. Bruce's mentioning that he hadn't hit puberty was annoying in two ways;

One it reminded him that he still hadn't hit it, when everyone else his age had started long ago, or at least this term.
Two for some reason, Tony had taken this to mean that Bruce wasn't seeing him as a 'man' yet. Which bothered him, as much as the fact that realising this was what caused him to blush in the first place.

"Who says I haven't hit it? My body's just taking it in a more subtle and dignified way compared to everyone else. It's not that surprising."

He scratches his cheek as he talks to hide his face casually.

"The fact that you still get annoyed at me for having to shave regularly now says all," he answers with a chuckle, not noticing the blush as he ducks his head. "Don't worry, I'm sure you'll start sprouting soon enough."

[arrogantalloy]

sprouting? He frowns more and quickens his step a little just to get in front of Bruce, just enough to keep his face from view.

"So now I'm a plant?"

He's really trying not to get huffy and annoyed at this, because it really would be stupid to. It's not a big deal, Bruce isn't trying to hit sore spots on complete purpose here.

"I meant sprouting body hair, so technically I'd be referring to your hair as plant-life on the fertile soil that is your body?"

[arrogantalloy]

He can't help himself as he turns around with an glint his eye as he smirks at Bruce, his moment of conflict kept at bay with his comment.

"So, you think my boy'd fertile, huh?"

[greenmoonrising]

He answers without missing a beat, expression mild as he answers, "Obviously - any more fertile and you'd be getting pregnant and defying all laws of biology."

[arrogantalloy]

Somehow, Tony doesn't expect him to come back with that kind of answer and just laughs at it.

[greenmoonrising]

"Now come on, we need to feed that fertile body of yours', think of your potential future baby," he snorted, stepping into the Great Hall and moving for the Ravenclaw table.

[arrogantalloy]

"Future baby? There's a scary thought"

He pulls a face a little, but perks up when he sees the food.

"Hey, it could happen, don't underestimate magic!"

He sits and gets a glass of juice to sip at.

[arrogantalloy]

Sitting next to him, Tony reaches out for some toast and chews it.

"Magic or not, I'm never getting into that situation."

[greenmoonrising]

"Never say never," he snorts, sipping away at his juice.

[arrogantalloy]

"Oh I'm going to say it, Never, never, never. See, I'm so confident I've said it three times. Well four because I said it before."

He starts to heap breakfast foods onto his plate.

"Yeah, I'm going to laugh if you somehow end up in a freak accident resulting in you being the first pregnant man."

Sets down his juice and has a scone to nibble.

[arrogantalloy]

"Wow, and I thought just me having a kid was a terrifying thought. But that, really takes the cake."

He gives a dramatic shiver before starting on his eggs.

[greenmoonrising]

"Yeah, imagine you with mood swings."

[arrogantalloy]

"It's the cravings that would be the worst part."

[greenmoonrising]

"You already eat like a pregnant woman."

[arrogantalloy]

"Hey, mean. This is called having an acquired taste for life... And food. Besides there's only eggs, bacon, and those baked beans the English like so much. What's so pregnant about that?"

[greenmoonrising]

"If there were blueberries you'd be putting those on top."

[arrogantalloy]

"Liking blueberries isn't a pregnant thing. And there's nothing wrong with having blueberries on the side."

He chews on his bacon in a mock sulk.
