WHEN: The day of September 2nd for the train, and at night for the feast!
WHERE: Hogwarts Express/Platform 9 3/4 and The Great Hall
WHAT: Gotta get back to Hogwarts! Back to witches and wizards and magical feasts! Students and teachers are finally heading back to school on the Hogwarts express, and with the new school year means sorting for the first years!
STATUS: Ongoing!
NOTE: There is a thread for the Train back to Hogwarts, and the Feast, with a subthread for the Sorting! First years can comment to be sorted, and everyone else can greet their new house mates/students!

[Which is ... so strange to Gamzee, because he thinks about it all the time.] Yeah, lots of people is like that, I think. Just not even got it up in their pans. That's why I figured you should be trying it out, to see.

[blinks ... then looks contrite] You ain't gotta, you know. I mean, that shit ain't mandatory.

[Oh, is that all? Gamzee smiles encouragingly.] It ain't hard! I mean, you gotta pretty much try to be bad at kissing. It's good to be all getting some practice in, though.

I haven't exactly had the opportunity.

Well, I heard there are some birds what like to do it with their hand, but I don't really got the knowing of how that works. [thoughtfully] Cause your hand ain't got no tongue or nothing. I did it with Maxim, so if I ever get my mack on for real, I'll know what's up. So finding a friend is a good way to do it, cause I'm thinking I be way better at it than I used to be!

[Stiiiill staring. And then blushing. Ack]

[He rubs one hand over his face]

[Well, that makes two of them - Gamzee is all pinking up again, still looking at anything but Arthur.] Yeah, sorry bro. Maybe be forgetting I said that. I know that ain't your thing, it's cool.

It's not as if I'm entirely opposed to the idea, you're not a bad looking guy or anything, but.. mm..

[Oh he is glad that no one is walking in on this]

Mm? [raising his eyebrows and glancing quickly at Arthur, confused, then away again]

[He bumps his head off his knee and groans quietly]

[Oh, right.] Sorry. [again, not sure what else to say, looking down at his long-fingered hands, clasped loosely in his lap now]

No, no it's.. fine, it's.. You're serious about it?

Yeah? I mean, I ain't trying to be getting all up in your pants or anything, or picking up on you or nothing. [worriedly - he really doesn't want Arthur thinking he's that kind of sleazy guy] But ... yeah, if you wanted to just try ... yeah.

[Really, Arthur doesn't think Gamzee could be that kind of guy if he tried. If it was anyone else... but he isn't exactly subtle, and Arthur's pretty sure that if he says something, that's exactly what he means. No ulterior motive]

[mo_cara]

... okay? [Gamzee's not sure if that means Arthur's forgiven him for bringing up something so crass, or if he actually wants to try it out. He looks up uncertainly, trying to figure it out from the cues on his friend's face.]

[He nods slightly]

Yeah. I mean..

[Pause. Arthur rubs the back of his neck]

There's no harm in it, is there.

[mo_cara]

Nah. Not even a little bit. [still blinking, then he'll smile tentatively, and pull himself to his feet, stretching out his long limbs again as he takes a few steps towards Arthur]

[Arthur's just going to.. stay sat down, because if he stands up he might fall over and he's not even sure why he's nervous because it's only Gamzee]

Oh, come on, I'm not going to hit you.

A motherfucker never knows with you. [But the taller boy's tone is teasing, and he smiles a little more, stepping up so he's right next to Arthur. He wants to do this right, so his friend can get an actual idea of how to kiss well, but he's also a little bit excited - Arthur's cute, and older, and while he might not want to date the other boy, or have a crush on him, Gamzee's more than a little attracted, especially by those brilliant green eyes. He always did like green.

So one hand comes up, ghosts over Arthur's jaw, then slides back into his thick blond hair, until Gamzee's hand is settled lightly on the nape of the other boy's neck. Then he leans down, pressing half-parted lips gently to Arthur's, testing the waters as it were, since diving right in with tongue was way motherfuckin' rude.]
