WHEN: The day of September 2nd for the train, and at night for the feast!
WHERE: Hogwarts Express/Platform 9 3/4 and The Great Hall
WHAT: Gotta get back to Hogwarts! Back to witches and wizards and magical feasts! Students and teachers are finally heading back to school on the Hogwarts express, and with the new school year means sorting for the first years!
STATUS: Ongoing!
NOTE: There is a thread for the Train back to Hogwarts, and the Feast, with a subthread for the Sorting! First years can comment to be sorted, and everyone else can greet their new house mates/students!

[There they go! Gamzee smiles briefly, against the kiss - he thought this might get stiff and awkward, but it seems like Arthur is catching on to what he's doing pretty well! Which means the taller boy relaxes a little, bracing his free hand on the back of the seat, and leaning in more by lifting his leg to rest his right knee on the seat, too, next to the blond's thigh.

When the tongue gets fully involved, it's with a little less trepidation and a lot more enthusiasm. The kiss becomes ... well, not sloppy, but deeper pretty quick, and then it's Gamzee's turn to make a pleased noise in the back of his throat, something low and a little rough. He likes kissing, and while he's never really imagined making out with Arthur, this is far from a disappointment. Give it much longer and he's going to start getting a bit hot under the collar, really.]

[He is catching on quickly, if he does say so himself. It's an interesting sensation - Arthur probably tastes like sherbet, given the sweets he's been eating.

Not bad for a first. Not bad at all, but something like this can only go on for so long before one or the other of them starts getting more out of it than they should and a little red warning flag goes up in the back of Arthur's mind as he feels his heartbeat quicken. Still, it doesn't stop him from lightly nipping against Gamzee's lower lip before he drops a hand to his shoulder again and firmly pushes him back a few inches.

He's rather red, and a little wide-eyed, and he swallows once, then lets out a small, nervous sound]

[Welp. Guess this means Arthur doesn't mind kissing boys. Gamzee's rather flushed himself, and he blinks slowly a few times, as if coming out of a daze, then smiles, slow and sweet and mellow.]

Damn. I guess you don't need so much practice after all. [almost reluctantly, he slips his hand free of the other boy's neck - that had been ... nice. Really nice.]

Um.. thanks. I think.

[A smile quirks at his lips and he distracts himself by fixing his hair and straightening his clothes, neither of which are necessary.

Now, he just needs to stop blushing, which is easier said than done]

Motherfucker, you be pretty cute when you're all red in the face like that. [No wonder Alfred's got a crush on him. Gamzee'll amble back to his seat, though, because seriously, Arthur, you're way too tempting when you're smiling and looking awkward.]

[He watches the ambling, then rubs one hand over his face again]

I hope you understand that we can never mention this to anyone.

Nah, I ain't a kiss and tell kind of motherfucker. [assures him, sprawling out on the seat again, then pausing a moment] ... that was okay?

Y.. yeah.

[Oh and he'd just got his blushing under control]

Yeah, it was.. I think. I can't say I have anything to compare it to.

Well, you ain't got to be rating it, I was just all wanting to be knowing if you liked it. [biting the inside of his lower lip - maybe he's not a very good kisser?]

[Oh! Good! Gamzee's face brightens, and he smiles, though he's just a little bit red, too.] Hell yeah! You're pretty fun to be kissing, too. I don't think you got nothing to be worrying about, you know, whenever you end up hooking up.

[Arthur stares for a moment, then just.. puts his head in his hands]

Oh! Sure thing, bro. I just thought you should know. That you're good with the lip and tongue action, I mean. We can be talking on whatever you want!

Gamzee would you just--!

[Oh, okay, he's stopped. Good. Arthur feels a little light-headed, probably thanks to all of his blood being in his face rather than in more vital areas. Arthur pushes a hand into his pocket, and pulls out the twist of paper that the other boy had given him]

What exactly is in this? And if you say 'motherfucking tea' I will brain you, I swear to god.

... but it really is. I wanted to be making something you could have. I added some shit, but nothing ... you know, nothing that would get you high, just to make it taste a little different. And sometimes tea smell be reminding me of you.

.. Oh. .. Thanks..

[He twirls the thing between his fingers, then reaches over for his bag and tucks it carefully into one of the pockets]

.. What the bloody hell are you doing thinking about me, you soft git.

You're my friend! I was missing you. [relaxing a little, and rubbing the back of his neck absently] And thinking it was gonna be pretty sweet once we were in school again, so I wanted to make something what reminded me of how much I like you. [beams]

[It's hard not to smile in return to that grin, and Arthur does]

I missed you too. You had me worried, you know.

[mo_cara]

Me? What's there to be worried about me? [wiggles his fingers and kicks one foot lazily up onto the seat next to Arthur] I be fine as fine!

Gamz.. you know damn well why I was worried, don't play the fool.

[mo_cara]

[But ... he really doesn't.] I kept talking to you, though, my brother, so you wouldn't have to!

That doesn't really alter the fact that you were about to cut yourself off from everyone just because of a.. Oh, never mind..

[He flicks the back of his hand against Gamzee's foot and looks away from him]

... I just don't like everyone being all mad at me. [looking down at his knees briefly] I didn't mean to make you all be worrying. I knew I'd be seeing everyone ...

[Arthur chews on his lip. His first instinct is to snap, but he knows Gamzee won't really understand why he's being shouted at. So, he's quiet for a few minutes, watching the countryside roll by. When he speaks, it's quiet]

I know you didn't mean it, but that's what friends do.
