Summer had been interesting to say the least, especially considering her recent status as a newborn vampire. Meeting Marshall at the Diagon Alley festival and knowing so many of her friends weren't repulsed or scared of her helped to lighten the load a little as it were. Home still wasn't an option though, and so Marcie had come to the Platform from a band mate's place.
She tilted the brim of her sunhat up, looking out the shaded window as the houses gave way to rolling green hills, chewing on the gum in her mouth. At least Hogwarts might be better than summer had been.]

[and just as he reaches her, whoops, down he goes, face first into her chest. 100% on purpose] Ehehehehe, tol'chu!

Hello to you too, Maxim.

It's a bit too nice for my taste, but I guess it's okay.

[And so she had; still wanting to give Marceline moral support, despite the two not being the closest of friends.]

[Arthur hovers in the doorway, having not opened it much more than is necessary for her to see who it is. Normally he'd just walk in, but... given the girl's current circumstances he's not entirely sure if his presence is welcome]

Hey, Artie.

[The correction is absent-minded. He knows she won't stop calling him that, and he doesn't really mind as much as he pretends to. Arthur looks over his shoulder and down the train, then back into the compartment with a faint, crooked smile]
Can I come in?
no subject
[She gives a shrug before straightening herself a little, angling her foot against the edge of the other seat. There was more room than necessary when one had a compartment to themselves, and Marcie's luggage only took up a little space.]

Like you're one to talk, Lalonde. It's still light out, so I won't be taking my chances even in a train.

[She takes a seat near.] You haven't given me the full story. I'm offended that I am still mostly in the dark, so to speak.

Do you want the long version or the short one?

'Sup Marcie? Working on a new tune?
no subject
You could say that. Not sure whether to title it Life Sucks or something else.
no subject
Ahhh if you're going that route I'm partial to Fangs For The Memories myself.

[And someone is poking her head in, grinning, and tossing a 'care package' of sorts inside. Read: Bonnie's on a sugar high, on the train, and is making sure everyone else is, too.]

What's this for, Princess?
