WHAT: There is a huge festival the whole week to let students get school supplies. People from all over are flocking to Diagon Alley for the best deals. That means you might meet new people or see old friends!
STATUS: Ongoing!

[Doesn't even jump, still looking over what appears to be bottled horse eyes, except they're glowing faintly.]

Aren't you in the wrong store to hit on girls? You might try the candy shop down the street.

You look like a girl from behind.

[Tony pulls at a strand of hair that Bruce has sitting at the lower part of the back of his head playfully.]

Seriously, haven't you thought of getting a hair cut since New York? Or was the experience just so mind blowing you thought you'd grow your hair for prosperity? A permanent reminder of the best trip to ever have over summer.

[Flushes a bit at the touch and ducks his head, jerking the lock of hair out of Tony's hand. He's still having trouble getting over how he feels about Tony, and the last thing he wants is for the idiot to find out that his best pal has a man crush on him.

Oh boy.]

As if. I just haven't had the time to bother and no one's said anything about it - not all of us spend hours primping in front of the mirror like you do.

[arrogantalloy]

[He raises an eyebrow and watches him for a moment.]

Only half an hour.

[He sounds a little distracted as if he's trying to figure out that reaction, then shrugs it off.]

That would be because your mom loves you and doesn't care how much like the Dullux dog you're starting to become. And well, the look does kind of work for you.

That or mom just doesn't see me out and about too much since she's busy keeping an eye on grandpa, and dad doesn't care how scruffy I look.

[His flush fades quickly and he throws an unamused look at Tony over his shoulder.]

Keep up the dog jokes and one of these days I'll steal your things and take them for chew toys during the time of the month.

Hey, for once this has nothing to do with your 'aunt flo' and everything to do with you have the hair of an English Sheepdog.

[He brushes up Bruce's forelocks]

See! I just found your eyes! I didn't even know there we under all this hair. Even Beiber cut his hair when he realised he could see better without it all.

[He blinks and jerks back, nearly knocking up against the shelves he was perusing earlier. He can't control how his cheeks turn faint pink again and glances away, ducking his head again so his hair flops down and obscures some of his high cheekbones.]

I'm not a sheepdog and Justin Beiber's not what I strive to be in life.

[arrogantalloy]

[Tony glances at his hand for a second]

Okay, have I become a vandergraph or something?

[Gives Bruce a suspicious look, before continuing.]

Keep letting your hair grow and you might be, and hey, he's got thousands of girls screaming for him, that's not exactly a horrible thing to have happen to you.

[Rolls his eyes.]

Must be your electrifying personality.

[He jams his hands in his pockets and gives Tony a confused look.]

... Did you just more or less tell me that you think Justin Beiber's got something you admire? Scratch that, that you desire?

Oh please, that guy wishes he had my charm and money. I'm just saying that girls go wild for him. And you could stand to have girls actively fawning over you, that's all I'm trying to say.

[arrogantalloy]

[Tony leans against a table with various herb sachets.]

Normal guys like the ideas of girls being around them. Even Thor does, and really, if Steve knew what to do with a girl if he had one, he'd like their attention too.

[Looks a little concerned]

[Bruce frowns and adjusts his bag strap.]

... I'm not normal, I thought we'd established that a while ago?

[arrogantalloy]

You're normal enough for a school of wizards and witches. Apart from your weird disinterest in girls.

[Tony shrugs, not being condescending just speaking normally]

[Gives a long suffering sigh and rolls his eyes, answering flatly:]

Who knows, maybe I'm interested in boys.

[arrogantalloy]

[Tony raises an eyebrow at him.]

I guess. But, where's the fun in that?

[He picks up a sprig of witch hazel and looks at it idly.]

[Shrugs and leans forward to examine a jar of newt eyes.]

Is there meant to be fun involved?

There's more fun in getting a girl to like you. They also have better outfits.

I mean really, getting you guys to date me would be easy.

[Snorts and puts the jar in his basket.]

Whatever you say. Should I be expecting you to wear girl's underwear soon like everyone says Professor Donoghue does?

[arrogantalloy]

Hell no. I enjoy looking at it, not wearing it.

And god, really? I know people say it, but I don't need that image right now.

You started this by saying you could get guys to date you - he's a guy, who's rumoured to have a penchant for things silk and lacy, would you ever tap that?

I'm many things. But up for a May/December with some old, grumpy ex-auora, isn't me.

In fact, it's kind of gross.

[Shrugs and approaches counter to make purchases.]

[arrogantalloy]

[Puts the witch hazel back and then follows Bruce to the counter]

Why are you shrugging at that? Do you want me having kinky thoughts about a Dark Arts professor?

[Makes purchases and tucks goodies away in his bag - mm, experiment materials - and glances up at Tony.]

You said you got Jarvis to buy your supplies right?
