WHAT: There is a huge festival the whole week to let students get school supplies. People from all over are flocking to Diagon Alley for the best deals. That means you might meet new people or see old friends!

[She keeps up the singing all the way to Fortescue's, blithely unconcerned by the odd looks people are giving them. These just make her sing louder. People are obviously staring and whispering because they enjoy her song.]

Do you come here often? I love ice cream and chocolate and all kinds of sweets!

[Jane glances over at him, grinning brightly. She knows Thor Odinson (it's kind of hard to not know him), and speaking to him has always been an experience. To say the least.]

Sometimes I get ink on my hands, but I've never tasted it on purpose.

Currently, he's in the bookstore, trying not to be super obvious about glancing at the romance section. Right now he's got an incredibly boring looking textbook in his hands.]

[Comes into the cafe and grins around looking at who's in there, before heading to the counter and ordering a coffee. He leans on the counter as he looks over at Kate.]

Look at you, Kane. In such a relaxed and easy going setting.

[He pays for his coffee and without waiting for change strolls over.]

You know, you'd look much more approachable in a sun dress... And a smile.

[He grins as if to punctuate this.]

Please don't, it tastes terrible! [He gives her a knowing look.] Are you looking forward to school?

[Not so fast, Tony! He might not notice people following him, but he can smell a rich kid from a mile away. He slinks over, trying to be super casual as he throws an arm around Tony's shoulders.]

I'll try not to. Do you taste ink often? [She tucks some hair behind her ear, nodding.] Yeah. Yeah, I am. Are you looking forward to school, Mister Odinson?

Of course I would, yours isn't exactly a face that looks good with anything other than a smile on it. So I'm pretty sure the world would crack open if you fell, hurt yourself and ended up frowning.

[He stands back and opens the door for her to go in first.]

So I have to make sure we keep you smiling.

Only once! I thought it was my glass and I took a sip. [He reels at the memory.] You do not need to call me mister! Call me Thor! We are friends. [SMILE.]

Depends what it is I'm working on.

[His grin gets broader.]

Homework we're looking at, you know, mustard. Because it's boring, un-challenging too straightforward. Notes to girls, well that's always going to be red. And when it comes to muggle engineering and programming, that's probably the deepest blue imaginable. Though I tend not to use that ink when doing that. I keep running out.

[He holds out the bottle to see if she'll take it.]

How do you mistake an ink jar for a glass? [Don't answer that.] Well, alright. Thor. Are you looking forward to school?

[It doesn't work as well as he thinks it does.]

Muggle engineering? I wasn't aware of any purebloods that care for science.

[Yep, just gonna ignore everything else he said.]

[Tony doesn't even try to hide the look of immense displeasure at having Justin hang off him like that. And mutters 'We have a different definition of pleasure, there.' somewhat under his breath.]

[He tries to slide himself out from under the arm.]

[Wow she keeps running into him. It's not on purpose. Honestly!]

Some purebloods take up genealogy and blood purity, others choose to be insane. Me I like to be all weird and eccentric by enjoying the finer details of making an engine run at peak performance or wiring a circuit board.

[Counts this as a swing and a miss, for now. Doesn't mean he's going to leave her alone though.]

It's not brewing a potion or subjugating those with muggle histories. But hey, it's something to pass the time with.

[Realising she's not going to take the ink, he puts it back down, idly glancing at a few of the other bottles.]

[She picks up a bottle, making sure it's just plain black ink.]

There's nothing wrong with science, but try telling a traditionalist that. They wouldn't listen to me in the first place, but I still wish there was someone who would listen.

Maybe you want to read the label before sticking that up a nostril. You know, look for one of those 'If you don't want to die, or turn purple, to not directly inhale'

[Tony shrugs slightly.]

Though, purple could work for you.

[Doesn't even jump, still looking over what appears to be bottled horse eyes, except they're glowing faintly.]

Aren't you in the wrong store to hit on girls? You might try the candy shop down the street.

Hey, me. I don't tell them anything, and I'm them. Technically. At least I am in America.. Or something.

[He shakes his head, looking like he really doesn't care.]

And hey, I like science, I have a basic understanding of well... Most of it really. Enough for me to even tilt my pure nose down low enough to hear you speak.

[He's being fairly sarcastic with his words.]

Really, talking shop with Bruce is fun and all, but he has a habit of just mumbling into his books after a while. Still not sure he realises he does this.

[Tony pulls at a strand of hair that Bruce has sitting at the lower part of the back of his head playfully.]

Seriously, haven't you thought of getting a hair cut since New York? Or was the experience just so mind blowing you thought you'd grow your hair for prosperity? A permanent reminder of the best trip to ever have over summer.
