Yay camp!

WHERE: All over camp
WHAT: First two days of camp! Time to get settled in and explore what's around.
STATUS: ONGOING

The camp isn't too different from any other camp. Cabins where people will stay, a space for a bonfire, a nearby lake for everyone to swim in, and of course, a thick morning mist all around the camp, because it's pretty early in the morning.

Still! There's stuff to do already. Those beds won't assign themselves, nor will those bags unpack themselves. Like it's just been said, there's no marked beds, so it's up to each and every one of you to work out the sleeping arrangements yourselves.

But once you're done, you're free to roam around, take a swim, climb a tree, explore the woods, and other assorted camp activities you do when you have free time.

[Arthur is just going to.. hover awkwardly on the edge of all this, not really sure what to make of it.

[But Alfred isn't going to get to finish that sentence, because Arthur reacts on instinct and drives his elbow back hard towards the other boy's stomach.

He squirms away, and his eyes widen for a moment]

Alfred! I'm s--

[Arthur cuts himself off, and scowls]

What the bloody hell do you think you're doing?!

OW, GODDAMN IT!

[This time he takes a swat at Arthur's head with the hand that ISN'T holding his stomach.]

Would you quit hittin' me, asshole?? I was FUCKIN' WITH YA!

[While naked. So...maybe this wasn't a great idea.]

[Arthur bristles, clenching his fists]

You snuck up on me! You know I hate that! It's your own stupid fault if you're going to creep up behind me bollock naked and deliberately act like a tosser!

I'm like the only person who ever sneaks up on you, you IDIOT! I just figured you had enough a brain to realize that!

[Well, now he's less pissed and more huffy than anything.]

Why're you out here anyway? I didn't think you the type to go running around "bollock naked," as you put it. There's a load of naked people.

[And look, he did the finger-quotes too.]

I heard the noise, I was wondering what was going on.

[He scowls]

I didn't expect to find the entire bloody camp skinny-dipping in the lake.

...So I'm not the only one who thinks that this is irresponsible, am I?

[He crosses his arms, regarding everyone else as they splashed around and carried on with whatever shenanigans they were taking part in.]

Do the adults care, you think?

[WE ARE NOW HAVING NORMAL CONVERSATION.]

... You think it's irresponsible?

[Pardon this expression of disbelief, he just can't believe you said something so.. normal]

I don't know if they care. I suppose we'll find out soon enough.

[Arthur rolls his eyes slightly]

The herd mentality here is astonishing.

...I think a lot of shit we do is irresponsible. Doesn't mean I'm not gonna do it, y'know.

[Shrug.]

I only came out here because Amelia mentioned it. And because where else am I gonna be able to swim and free-ball at the same time?
