Yay camp!

WHAT: First two days of camp! Time to get settled in and explore what's around.
STATUS: ONGOING

The camp isn't too different from any other camp. Cabins where people will stay, a space for a bonfire, a nearby lake for everyone to swim in, and of course, a thick morning mist all around the camp, because it's pretty early in the morning.

Still! There's stuff to do already. Those beds won't assign themselves, nor will those bags unpack themselves. Like it's just been said, there's no marked beds, so it's up to each and every one of you to work out the sleeping arrangements yourselves.

But once you're done, you're free to roam around, take a swim, climb a tree, explore the woods, and other assorted camp activities you do when you have free time.

[It's all he can manage before he curls up on the ground. There are probably so many things he'd WANT to say, normally. Many scathing things, others defensive.

But oh god he was going to die, that hurt so bad. No amount of touching on Arthur would have warranted this, not even if he was on Arthur's side.]

[He's trying to stay angry, he really is, but the more he thinks on it the more he thinks that his reaction had been.. a little uncalled for.

[Arthur shrugs off his light summer jacket and crouches to put it over Alfred, giving him at least some semblance of dignity]

[There is no dignity to be had when you've been nutbusted and you're curled up in the fetal position and whining. He's not about to talk, not when just trying to catch his breath makes him retch.

So feel guilty. Because he's going to make you feel guilty later if you don't feel enough now.]

[He crouches next to the other boy, keeping a slight distance between them]

[It's a while before Alfred feels up to answering back, and when he does he peers up at Arthur with reddened eyes.]

Five years...'n you still think'm gonna hurt you with my hands...? 'M not your brothers. Stupid...'m not gonna hit you.

[He stands up straight, eyes slightly narrowed, arms folded across his chest]

No, you're worse. At least they leave me be most of the time.

[He squirms, wincing and letting out a whine of pain.]

Take your goddamn jacket, and go to hell. You don't know anything.

Because you treat me like a bloody joke, Alfred, and the only reason I still tolerate it is because, just occasionally, I can find you amusing.

[He leaves his jacket where it is, and takes a few steps back]

[He still sounds terribly pained, by the way.]

[A bad way to put it, but there are worse ways. Arthur snorts quietly, and walks away. After a minute or so, he comes back, and places a cup of water on the ground next to the other teenager]

Try not to throw up.

[He straightens, and walks away, leaving Alfred with his jacket]
