Tavros sits alone in an out of the way place, curled up in the inlay of a large window. He leans his head against the glass and watches all the nothing going on in the air around the school. One hand is pulled into his robe where he has a pocket spelled to keep the baby snake he stole from the egg he hatched with Gamzee. It's likely the only good thing to come out of that holiday, but it feels like he ended up trading his best friend for it.

WHAT: Unbeknownst to Ellis, Dave was around when his and Nick's egg hatched. Love potion shenanigans ensue.
STATUS: Ongoing

[The hatching of their egg had been exciting, to say the least. Very exciting. He'd been looking forward to it ever since they got their egg, and he hadn't been let down. It was just as awesome as he'd anticipated. But... ever since it happened, he'd been feeling funny. He couldn't get Nick off his mind. He'd never thought about Nick so much in his life, and it was... confusing. But gosh, Nick was just so amazing. But right now he was trying very desperately not to think about that. Nick was gone now and he was supposed to be focusing on their little snake. Not... Nick.

And he didn't know that there was someone else in the library with him, so he's busy making cooing noises at his new baby snake and trying really, really hard not to think about Nick. Man they sure did make a cute little baby snake together, didn't they?

Wait...

That was a weird thought to have.

WHERE: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
WHAT: Usagi saw Thor being the kind of lovey-dovey with Steve that he used to be with her. So she's confused and miserable.



Usagi really didn't know what to make of what she had seen. Other than that it was Thor being very snuggly and cute with Steve at lunch time the other day. She knew Thor was friendly, and as naive as she was at times, Usagi also knew that he was being too friendly. Friendly in the way he's friendly to her. Boyfriend friendly.

She was too stunned to make a scene. So she did what she always did when actually upset, instead of her usually overly dramatic reactions to something she didn't like. She hid in a small unnoticed part of the castle and cried for an hour before going to her bed and not coming out until she had to for school.

It was lunch time on Sunday before Usagi had come out of the common room, and had quietly gone down to lunch. She sat with her friends in Hufflepuff, but wasn't really invested in what they were talking about, as she just pushed her food around her plate. After about 10 minutes, Usagi ate about as much as she felt like eating before standing up and starting to head back to her room.

WHAT: Herbert extended a welcome to Kurloz to join him at the Ravenclaw table whenever for chit-chats. Kurloz takes him up on it.

Look at that clown. All covered in skeleton-like face-paint so early in the morning, and on a Sunday of all days! Unfortunately for the intellectual students of Ravenclaw table, that there clown wouldn't be sitting with his fellow strangers in Slytherin.

Nope, he's on his way to join his buddy Herbert in the pond of blue and bronze!

Cue one lanky teen flopping gracefully next to said Ravenclaw with a broad grin and a wave of his hand.
