Ah, the sound of music. It's not always a pretty sound- definitely not. While there are plenty of good bands at the festival, there are also plenty of pretty awful ones trying to make it big. But that's okay, because it's still a good time! Look at all of those stages, look at all that festival food. Four days of music, fun and awesomeness! So walk around, enjoy the music, maybe enter the singing competition they have each day.

But wait! Even if you aren't musically inclined, guess what? Shortly after arriving, you begin to feel the sudden urge to sing, too, even if you might sound like a dying whale. Eventually the urge is going to get so great that you just have to break out into song. Or you might just sing randomly throughout the day, if you give into the feelings. It really depends on your willpower! Either way, you will sing. It looks like all the spells used to make this happen have had unintended side-effects.

That won't stop you from having fun though, right?

[There is nothing Marshall loves more than a rock show. The only thing better than attending it is actually playing in it and he was fortunate enough to have gotten an invite. The bassist in the band a friend of his headed up was out sick and he'd asked Marshall to fill in.
Of course he said yes.
On stage three the band was in full swing and Marshall was happily playing away and doing back up vocals. The band starts up a more hardcore version of Screaming Dead's Creatures of the Night
He also had absolutely no shame in using his powers of compulsion (just a little bit!) to drive the crowd wild either.]

[Rose weasels herself through the crowd so she can get a good spot (that, and her veela charm gets her things when she really wants something). Of course a good spot means she might be having hearing difficulties after, but that's a temporary drawback that she thinks is worth enduring. She gives a bright grin as she watches Marshall and the rest of the band rock out.

She doesn't yell or scream (how unladylike!) but she does clap as loud as she can. Until her hands sting a bit.]

[Marshall can't exactly talk at the moment but he sends a smile her way and winks in her direction. All too soon the bands set is up and he makes his way over, guitar still strapped on.]

Hey Rose! Nice to see you decided to give a music festival a try. Are you having a good time?

I will admit that a lot of the music isn't my usual thing. I have rather dull tastes for my generation apparently. I am quit enjoying myself. Ignoring the embarrassing moments of a certain elder Strider belting out lyrics like no other. Still, I am quite charmed by everything.

[Keith doesn't need any help from vampiric compulsion. He's elbowed his way to the front of the show and is jumping against the barrier, one raised fist pumping as he yells and cheers.

His palms aren't stinging from clapping. He actually can't feel them anymore.]

[Marshall grins as he spies Keith in the crowd. At least he didn't have to wonder if Keith was having a good time! He nods in the other boys direction and when the set is over he makes his way over grinning.]

Hey man! I'm surprised you didn't try to crowd surf out there.

[He lives for this kind of thing! As Marshall joins him after the set he's grinning widely, and he claps him on the back once he's close enough.]

Who's sayin' I didn't! Best way to get a front seat, bro.

[Ooof. Quite an arm you have there Ellis.]

Ha! Nice! I'm kind of surprised at how similar this is to a Muggle rock show. Of course the pyrotechnics are WAY better here.

Right?? Give me a magic rock show any time, buddy, they know how to really kick things off.

[He's obviously buzzing, still bouncing with adrenaline.]

I'll take any kind of music show. Well, okay, not a Justin Bieber show
[He laughs and looks around.]
Hey, you wanna go to one of the other stages? I think this ones clearing out.

He grins and nods eagerly, looking around towards other stages without even knowing who is playing where. That, really, has been his approach to this entire thing, and it's just chance that he's found Marshall here.]

Fuck yeah, let's hit the shows.

[marshall_lee]

Sounds good to me. I'm free the rest of the night. I was just filling in for someone who was sick.
[He rolls his eyes and makes a face.]
And by "sick" I mean, passed out and hung over.

[He points over to the first stage.]
Looks like those guys are about to play. I'm not sure who it is though..I don't have a roster on me but we can check it out if you want?

Yessss let's do it. [You will never find a more eager concert-goer than Keith.]

Who cares who they are if we can rock out?

Excellent! [And Marshall is so grateful for that, you have no idea.]

True. If I like 'em I'll buy their cd anyways. [They made their way down to the other stage and managed to make it over right as the band began warming up.}
Not bad so far! I bet this'll be a good show.

You can tell already? [Marshall gets a bit of an impressed look, but then, he is a musician, right? Keith bounces on his heels, straining to get a good look over the crowd.]

Man, I'm havin' to keep notes of all the CDs I want after this.

Well, they're starting out strong at least. [He was just honestly hoping for the best. He cranes his neck trying to get a good look too. When did people get so damn tall anyways?]

Same. I had the schedule in my pocket..I've been putting check marks beside the names of what bands I wanna buy from.
