WHO: Jane Foster and Thor (could be open to anyone else too :D?)
TONE: CUTE
RATING: PG, PG13 tops
WHERE: outside
WHAT: Jane’s birthday was the 9th of June. Time to celebrate :D
STATUS: Ongoing
Jane never makes much out of her birthday – it’s always at the end of the school year and in the middle of finals and there’s never much time to do anything. This year, it’s not any different; plus – it’s on a Sunday. Everyone’s doing other things and enjoying their weekend (or studying), and Jane herself is perched on a table somewhere outside and scrawling doodles and notes in one of her books, quill scratching over the parchment paper.

As usual, he has a sixth sense for Jane. It doesn't take him long to hunt her down, particularly once he gets on his broom and cycles outside. Once he catches sight of her, he doesn't hesitate to swoop down, probably sending her papers flying as he does.
"JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANE."
OMG
Until, you know -- her name is shouted and he's 'swooping' in, scattering everything she was working on in a flurry. She frantically grabs for them, but several are lost to the wind.
"Thor!" WHAT ARE YOU DOING.
:D
Eventually, he drops down in a much more gentle manner so he can grin at her. "It is your birthday." He announces, as if she wouldn't know that already, holding out the pages for her.

"Yes," she says slowly, reaching to take out the pages and shuffle them back together. "It...is."
He...didn't. Did he?

"I had an inkling." He sniggers, stepping off his broom and hesitating for a moment before finally shoving her broom toward her with a sound of triumph. "Happy birthday to you!"
no subject
"You didn't." Her thoughts echo out loud as she shyly steps forward, setting her papers aside on the bench before taking another step. "You did."
Her smile widens, and she flings her arms around his neck, and gives him a kiss right there in front of anyone who might be watching.
no subject
"I most certainly did!" He beams, nodding his head quickly. "I can give you lessons if you'd li-UH." He cuts off mid sentence as she flings her arms around him, his cheeks turning just a little bit pink when she moves to kiss him. He doesn't so much as hesitate, though. He leans in and kisses her right back!
Happy birthday indeed.

It's one of those hesitantly chaste kisses that teenagers start with and she pulls back, breathless and pink and embarrassed.
"Sorry. I -- lessons. That would be great."
no subject
"I would be happy to teach you." He smiles softly. "Only if you promise to allow me to take you night flying in the near future."
no subject
"That would be amazing.Yes. Please." Night flying? Sounded perfect. There's nothing she'd want more, really. He'd already done too much, though...so that he suggests it himself makes her feel a little better.
"You didn't have to do this, you know.."
no subject
He laughs at her response and shakes his head as if he thinks she’s joking. “Of course I didn’t have to! There’s no fun in doing anything out of obligation!”
no subject
"Can we try now, then?" She looks at it hopefully, gaze moving between him and her newly acquired gift. She's terribly excited about it -- and doesn't particularly want to wait on the flying lesson for another day.
no subject
“We most certainly can. I presume that you know how to mount your broom?” Nope, nothing awkward about asking that.
no subject
Yeah, okay -- that makes Jane's face flare a little red, but she nods.
"I do. I mean...the simple stuff, I know. It's everything else that...kind of eludes me."
no subject
"Then we will take it slow! But I am certain it will be easier to teach if we're in the air." He nods, throwing a leg over his broom. "Shall we?" He's pushing himself up already anyway.
