WHO: Jane Foster and Youuuuu

WHERE Astronomy tower
WHAT: Jane takes a break from studying. Kind of.
STATUS: Ongoing
Okay, looming exams? Maybe getting to Jane, just a little. So much so that she’s settled high atop the astronomy tower at night with her journal and sketchbook, half doodling, half studying, half thinking. Her mind is ever in the stars, or so Erik says. That will never change.
Even Jane realized when she needed a break though, and her textbooks, while certainly within reach, are closed and in her bag. She’s leaning back on her hands, head tipped up as the moon douses her in soft light, eyes closed.
She’s just asking to be pestered, isn’t she.

He flattens out the front of his shirt and glances at her.
"Because summer's coming up, which means a week in New York, in front of the papers. Everyone loves to find something to talk about when it comes to Howard Stark's boy." Then there's a pause. "And well, Summer also means swimwear, and you know what, I've been working on my four pack, and I really don't want to lose it."

She reaches for a quill and scribbles a thought or two down before glancing over.
"Do you have any plans for summer? Besides New York, I mean."

Tony eats a few more cherries while she eats then contemplates her question, punctuating the thought with a shrug.
"I'll be finishing the Roadster finally. So driving that about on the estate. Taking Bruce somewhere, because that's what boyfriends do. Not that I really know where to take him, because well, girls are a lot easier than him to please. And there's also having everyone over, I mean Steve's looking forward to a Bruce Willis marathon so that's going to end up with everyone showing up, of course."
He thinks for a second.
"You can come too, got an email, or a home number or something I can have?"

Jane visibly brightens.
"Yeah. Once second."
She flips through one of her notebooks and rips out a blank page, and scribbles her name, number, and email address on it.
"Here. Thor's coming too, right?"

To be fair, Tony doesn't mean it. But he does love making up things about Thor to see if they get back to him.
"But, one thing. You can't let him know you've been invited. If you can do that. I'll buy you a puppy."

"I just like the idea of surprising everyone with inviting a girl who doesn't secretly plan to snap some of us in half."
Well, really Natasha has only really threatened that once, and only to Tony. They have a really strange friendship.

Because that makes Jane terribly amused, especially if someone said it to Tony.

To punctuate his point, Tony runs his fingers through his hair.
"I'm actually starting to think Natasha only has it out for me though."
