WHAT: Canon selves event! A seance gone awry has had its effect on the school, bringing about mental and physical changes to students and staff alike! Full details of the combinations of effects can be found here.
STATUS: Ongoing! Use whichever style you like.

[Spring brings change, but that change isn't always a good thing! Whether your character has changed entirely into their canon self, or only in part, please keep in mind that whatever they know/learn of their original canon during this event will be unable to be clearly recalled - disappearing with their past self - when the event is over. This is to avoid fourth-walling after the conclusion of the event.

Please also keep in mind that some people will not want to fourth-wall during the event! Make sure it's alright with the other player before you decide to do that. Above all, though, have fun!]

Canon Body and Mind (fourth walling ok!)

[Marshall can be found (literally) floating around inspecting everything. He looks relatively the same except his skin tone is grey.]

This isn't Aaa. Where the hell am I?

[Hovering a couple of feet above the ground, he makes his way through the castle to look for some answers. He's not afraid per say but he would dearly like to know who managed to pull off transporting the Vampire King somewhere.]

[Woah. Woah that flying fucker's got grey skin. Like a troll. And fangs-! Maybe this is all just some fucked up dream bubble where Kurloz has been all humanified but there are still trolls around!? In any case, Kurloz STARES HARD at the floating vampire, wondering if the guy can give him a proper explanation on the strangeness of the day.]

[Marshall floats over to the other boy. As he gets closer he can't help but notice that he looks and smells human. Interesting. As far as he knew Fionna was the only human in Aaa. Which meant either 1. This guy has been really good at hiding. or 2. Marshall wasn't in Aaa anymore. He was betting on the latter at this point so he decides to just finally ask.]

Hey man, do you have any idea what place this is? I have no idea how I got here.

[Kurloz doesn't understand anything that Marshall just said and just stares at him dumbly for a moment before shaking his head.]

[marshall_lee]

Oh crap..am I in a foreign country?
[Marshall lands and moves a little closer to Kurloz. He tries to gesture as he speaks.]
Do..you speak my language? Or not at all?

[He's guessing from the gesturing that Marshall's asking if he can understand him, so Kurloz shakes his head again. He tries miming that he isn't from around here, gesturing at himself, then at the campus around them, shaking his head.]

[marshall_lee]

[Marshall's pretty quick on the uptake and he's decent at charades so he gets the gist of what Kurloz is trying to tell him.]
Gotcha. So this isn't your home turf either huh?

[Marshall thinks for a few moments before gesturing to himself and then to Kurloz and then pointing down the hall while giving him a questioning "how about it?" kind of look.]

Maybe if we go down this way we can find someone else to ask.

Marshall?

[She sees you, vampire boy, and she sees you floating as well. From the back she can't yet see that he's also turned grey, or she may be a little more alarmed than she is already by the simple fact he's.. floating.

Though he definitely doesn't appear to be dead (or deader), so there's a small silver lining, there.]

[marshall_lee]

[He turns at hearing his name spoken and smiles when he sees that it's a pretty lady. He floats closer and then hesitates a moment when he notices that she smells like a vampire. She wasn't like any vampire he'd ever seen before though. He smiled anyways.]

That's my name gorgeous. And who might you be?

[Gorgeous? Well, it's been a while since someone introduced themselves to her like that. Yet again, it seems, she's going to have to keep an eye on Marshall while he doesn't remember who he is.]

My name is Dolores. Do you know where you are?

[marshall_lee]

[He floats down until he's eye level to her.]

Dolores. That's pretty. I'm Marshall Lee the Vampire King. [He shakes his head.] Nope. I've never seen this place before.
[He eyes her in a thoughtful way.]
I've also never seen a vampire like you before. You look almost human.

[She just gives a soft chuckle. It's so odd to hear him talking that way. 'Vampire King' indeed?]

I have found that most vampires do. It helps us to blend in.

[As does.. not floating.]

[Now he looks confused.]
No, most vampires look like me. Not that I see very many of either humans OR vampires.
[He leans back and reclines in mid air.]
Maybe you can help me. I seem to have just suddenly..appeared here. Do you know where here is?

[Oh? It's a floating party, in that case, although Dirk is a lot more colorful than Marshall, at the moment.]

[Wow, that's..really bright there Dirk.]

So you don't know either huh? Did you just suddenly find yourself here too?

Not that a castle isn't a vast improvement on a planet in the middle of fuckall nowhere!

Woah wait..you came from another planet? Where I'm from we haven't left our own planet since before the wars.

At this point I might as well be from a different planet. Considering there are people here who don't look like a rainbow had a tragic emotional breakdown all over them.

[Marshall chuckles.]

That's true. It is pretty dismal around here. Your place sounds similar to the Candy Kingdom where I'm from. That place is bright and full of sugar.

[Gamzee has also turned gray! And grown horns and claws and fangs, and his eyes have turned amber and grey and his has pointed, mobile ears now. The face paint is unmistakable, though, except Marshall no longer remembers his Housemates.]

[Marshall stares at the other guy. If not for the horns he would look just like a vampire. He smelled different though..kind of like a troll from back home but not really. He also looked like he was wearing face paint Huh. Stranger and stranger.]

...not really? I'm just wondering where the hell I am and how I ended up here. Do you know this place?

Some big motherfuckin' stone hive, I guess. I thought it were on the meteor, but maybe it's in one of the human's lands. [shrugs]

A hive? Huh. I thought it looked like a castle. It has a bunch of pictures of humans hanging up around here so I think you're right about that.
I know I'm not home because where I'm from there's only one human left.

Karkat says we made 'em. So what are you all up and being then, bro? Like, half a troll, half a flapbeast?

Me? Well, I'm a vampire. But when I was alive I was half human and half demon. I guess you could still consider me all of the above?
[He smiles almost apologetically.]
