WHAT: Canon selves event! A seance gone awry has had its effect on the school, bringing about mental and physical changes to students and staff alike! Full details of the combinations of effects can be found here.
STATUS: Ongoing! Use whichever style you like.

[Spring brings change, but that change isn't always a good thing! Whether your character has changed entirely into their canon self, or only in part, please keep in mind that whatever they know/learn of their original canon during this event will be unable to be clearly recalled - disappearing with their past self - when the event is over. This is to avoid fourth-walling after the conclusion of the event.

Please also keep in mind that some people will not want to fourth-wall during the event! Make sure it's alright with the other player before you decide to do that. Above all, though, have fun!]

[Ah! The Potions Master. Now that she looked more closely she could see some faint resemblances here and there, but she never would have guessed had she not been told. She nodded her head at the advice, tucking it away to give to anyone else she might encounter.

Now that she knew who it was, and that he had maintained his mind, Meulin knew she had no need to fear. In fact she looked at Rhys with a small degree of awe, committing this image of him in this posture to put to paint some other day.]

There were a couple others that looked like you. Not as big but [And she indicated the top of her head to refer to his horns] and the gray skin. Um. A lot of people look the same but seem to have furgotten their mewmories.

[As a Beforian troll, Kurloz isn't all that violent by nature. But even he can feel intimidation and react like a beast under threat, baring his blunt human teeth in a silent snarl as his body drops a bit in a defensive crouch. He might not be able to use this human body's magic the way he uses his chucklevoodoos, but something clicks in the back of his mind without him realising it and his deeper, thicker, threateningly enraged voice growls in Rhys' mind. It doesn't help that he's thinking in Beforian.]

[Nods in understanding and points at himself before lifting both hands to his head, pointing them up like horns to indicate that he's also a troll.

Just... not. But he's smiling!? You can't keep looking worried when someone's smiling at you, right??]

[Marshall floats over to the other boy. As he gets closer he can't help but notice that he looks and smells human. Interesting. As far as he knew Fionna was the only human in Aaa. Which meant either 1. This guy has been really good at hiding. or 2. Marshall wasn't in Aaa anymore. He was betting on the latter at this point so he decides to just finally ask.]

Hey man, do you have any idea what place this is? I have no idea how I got here.

[He turns at hearing his name spoken and smiles when he sees that it's a pretty lady. He floats closer and then hesitates a moment when he notices that she smells like a vampire. She wasn't like any vampire he'd ever seen before though. He smiled anyways.]

That's my name gorgeous. And who might you be?

[Wow, that's..really bright there Dirk.]

So you don't know either huh? Did you just suddenly find yourself here too?

[Marshall stares at the other guy. If not for the horns he would look just like a vampire. He smelled different though..kind of like a troll from back home but not really. He also looked like he was wearing face paint Huh. Stranger and stranger.]

...not really? I'm just wondering where the hell I am and how I ended up here. Do you know this place?

[Coraline is wandering down the hall heading towards the Great Hall. She looks very concerned as she does so. What is this place? Was it the Other World? It didn't look like anything like something you would find in the United States. It looked almost like a castle.

"Mom? Dad? Anyone? Helloooooo?"

[In a slightly smaller voice she asks.]

"Other Mother? Ugh, god I hope not."

[helmetdoesnothing]

[He lets go of him when he moves, rubbing one hand up his arm and looking at Murdoc as he crouches. His shoulder tenses under that hand, but he doesn't pull himself away.

There's a small nod to the statement, then a brief shake of his head at the question.]

No. I wath in the hothpital wing and then.. [A vague gesture. He wasn't exactly released, but they didn't stop him from running off either.]

[Oh, holy--

There aren't many people he'll tolerate something like this from, but Kurloz is one of them, and he wraps both arms tightly around the other boy without even a thought for why he's not asking about the way he looks.]

[He frowns a bit and rubs one hand over one of his cheeks. Peaky? Really?]

I feel fine.

[Sort of.]

A little confused, I suppose.

[Wait, kid?]

Hold on one bloody minute, who are you calling 'kid'?

[She's always felt small beside him, but this is ridiculous. Distracting isn't quite the word she would use, and if she had a heartbeat it would no doubt be hammering against her chest.]

What.. [Dolores grips his arm, standing up and carefully easing away from him.] This is the most impressive case of this I've seen..

[Gorgeous? Well, it's been a while since someone introduced themselves to her like that. Yet again, it seems, she's going to have to keep an eye on Marshall while he doesn't remember who he is.]

My name is Dolores. Do you know where you are?

[He floats down until he's eye level to her.]

Dolores. That's pretty. I'm Marshall Lee the Vampire King. [He shakes his head.] Nope. I've never seen this place before.
[He eyes her in a thoughtful way.]
I've also never seen a vampire like you before. You look almost human.

[She just gives a soft chuckle. It's so odd to hear him talking that way. 'Vampire King' indeed?]

I have found that most vampires do. It helps us to blend in.

[Rose has no reason to react to him in an aggressive manner. She is taken aback that he seems to know her by name though.]

I didn't mean it that way. The trolls I have met have been six to seven sweeps. They were around my age. I have never guessed I would meet one who has reached full adulthood.

How do you know my name?

[She's really confused! All these people that know her that she does not know.]

[She smiles back. She's getting used to seeing people, even if it's still weird to her.]

Well...I am lost. I don't quite know where I am at all.

[In her defense, she didn't ask for the specific colors. They just kind of gave it to her for dying! Congratulations for dying, you are now a traffic cone!!!!]

I would not mind that. That sounds splendid. I rather wander lost with company than on my own. Still, I don't think I will quite find where I want to be, unless you can direct me to the closest meteor that is speeding off at a ridiculous speed.

[She looks at him for a bit.] Dirk? Last we met, you were dressed in Derse wear and...[A lot of different things to be honest.]

I didn't manage this. I'm thinking that some sort of alien tech did this, and transported us to a castle in the middle of nowhere.
