WHAT: Canon selves event! A seance gone awry has had its effect on the school, bringing about mental and physical changes to students and staff alike! Full details of the combinations of effects can be found here.
STATUS: Ongoing! Use whichever style you like.

[Spring brings change, but that change isn't always a good thing! Whether your character has changed entirely into their canon self, or only in part, please keep in mind that whatever they know/learn of their original canon during this event will be unable to be clearly recalled - disappearing with their past self - when the event is over. This is to avoid fourth-walling after the conclusion of the event.

Please also keep in mind that some people will not want to fourth-wall during the event! Make sure it's alright with the other player before you decide to do that. Above all, though, have fun!]

Canon Mind-Fourth walling like woah.

[Coraline is wandering down the hall heading towards the Great Hall. She looks very concerned as she does so. What is this place? Was it the Other World? It didn't look like anything like something you would find in the United States. It looked almost like a castle.

"Mom? Dad? Anyone? Helloooooo?"

[In a slightly smaller voice she asks.]

"Other Mother? Ugh, god I hope not."

[papatiger]

[Her calls attract the Tiger's attention. Immediately he sets down the curious ornament (a candle-holder, they didn't have those kinds in Ancient China) and waves her over.]

Are you lost, child?

[Coraline regards Tiger with some suspicion. Though the man doesn't have buttons for eyes he is still a stranger.]

Um, I guess you could say that. Do you know what this place is? Or where?

[papatiger]

This?

[He makes a sweeping gesture around him. Ancient Chinese generals are always dramatic.]

It is a palace of wizards, where they are schooled in parlour tricks and magical arts. I do not wish to stay any longer here so I have been searching for the altar on which the spell that brought us here was cast.

[Okaaaay. A palace full of wizards huh? Keep cool Coraline. You've faced worse.]

Um, are they good wizards or bad wizards? And more importantly..do they have normal looking eyes? No...buttons or anything funny like that?

[She looks around.]
I'd kind of like to get out of here too. This place gives me the heebie jeebies.

[papatiger]

They seem harmless for the moment, but if there are good wizards in the world then I have not been so fortunate to meet them just yet.

Perhaps we can search together then. It wouldn't be good for a young girl like yourself to be wondering around on her own. Allow me to accompany you.

Oh crap..so we're in a place with bad wizards. Well, that's bad but not as bad as some other things I've experienced.
[She regards him thoughtfully for a moment. He doesn't seem too suspicious and having a grown up around could come in handy.]

All right..we can travel together. Since we've just met, I've got my eyes on you though. [She makes the "I'm watching you" motion by pointing her first two fingers at her eye and then pointing her index finger at him.]

[papatiger]

[Sun Jian merely chuckles and repeats the motion.]

I will be watching you as well.

"Girl" does not make a very nice name. May I know what you are called?

Are you in need of assistance, young child?

[Thor is his normal teen self, but his mental status is that of his godly self. He thinks he's the actual god of thunder and not a silly wizard.

He's trying to make his voice sound manly and booming, but it kind of cracks.]

[Child? What? She regards him with a raised eyebrow. This guy didn't have buttons for eyes so he was probably human. Weird but human.]
Okay, I'll ignore the child comment for now. Do you happen to know what this place is?

[brothor]

You are very much a child, you shall be referred to as such. [The most stern look, one that doesn't seem to suit his young face.] I am not familiar with it. I was not aware Midgard possessed such large buildings.

[its_cor_aline]

Dude, you're not much older than I am! [She giggles a little at his expression. The fact that he's being so darn serious about it is hilarious. She tries to compose herself though.]

Oh, you don't know ei-wait, did you say Midgard? Like, the Norse mythology Midgard?

[brothor]

I am well over a thousand years old. [A pause.] Though I do not look it.

Indeed I did. I am Thor, of Asgard. I am a guest in your realm and your castle.

[its_cor_aline]

A thousand-? Okaaaay...I'm not going to argue. [Clearly this dude is a little out there. Clearly.]

Um, this isn't my realm or my castle. I have no idea how I got here to be honest. I guess I'm Coraline of Michigan. You can just call me Coraline though.

[brothor]

You would do well not to. [The frown following that confirms how serious he is.]

You live here, it is in some part yours. I pressume I am in America? Are we in Michigan? I've not heard of it.

[He bows his head.] Forgive me, Lady Coraline. I am well out of sorts.
