WHAT: Canon selves event! A seance gone awry has had its effect on the school, bringing about mental and physical changes to students and staff alike! Full details of the combinations of effects can be found here.

[Spring brings change, but that change isn't always a good thing! Whether your character has changed entirely into their canon self, or only in part, please keep in mind that whatever they know/learn of their original canon during this event will be unable to be clearly recalled - disappearing with their past self - when the event is over. This is to avoid fourth-walling after the conclusion of the event.

Please also keep in mind that some people will not want to fourth-wall during the event! Make sure it's alright with the other player before you decide to do that. Above all, though, have fun!]

[So those who happen to see Bro roaming the castle will be quick to note that he looks a little different. Bro's a little more muscular than he was the day before, as if he's buffed up considerably over night. That's the only physical change present. But mentally? He's a completely different person. He doesn't know how or why he got here, and his little run in with Murdoc after waking up really wasn't enough to give him any answers on the matter.

It doesn't matter though. What matters is finding Dave, because he knows the kid is around here somewhere, and he wants to know what the fuck is going on with him, if he was brought here too or if Bro is alone. If he's alone... Well, he'll cross that bridge when he gets there.

Right now, he's just skulking around the halls of Hogwarts, dashing in and out of corners quickly like a motherfucking ninja, as if he doesn't want to be seen. A bunch of fucking wizards are around and he doesn't trust them. Not after getting stunned by Murdoc. He hasn't been able to locate his sword yet, either, on account of not knowing where the hell his office is.

So if you decide to approach him, you should be prepared for him to be on his motherfucking guard. Because Broto ain't in Kansas anymore, and he's not fucking happy.]

[Bruce's frown grows pronounced and he hesitates for a moment but then shakes his head and reaches for Tony's hand covering the arc reactor.]

What's wrong with your reactor?

[Huh... so this Meulin clearly isn't his Meulin, seeing as how she can't understand him at all. The disappointment is clear on his face as he shakes his head dejectedly, running a hand through his tousled hair and sighing silently. Still, she might have what he needs, right? He moves his fingers together in a scissoring motion, wondering if she might have a pair of scissors or something for him to cut with.]

[Tony is striding down the hallway, without his shop or his suit he doesn't have really anything to do so he's doing something else he likes to do, find food. However, he has no idea where the kitchens are, so really he's just wandering around aimlessly, giving a few odd paintings displeased looks. Okay, he's accepting the whole magic thing, but it doesn't mean he has to like it.

He glances at the skulking Bro and raises an eyebrow at him, as he actually isn't sure if he saw him or not.]

Okay, first magic, now what? Ghosts?

['Ey there Cronus - recognise Kurloz? As a human? Looking a bit lost in his pajamas and bedraggled hair? He's just kind of skulking around the hallways, still in search of scissors and sewing material but the manner in which he's walking should be fairly recognisable.]

[Woah. Woah that flying fucker's got grey skin. Like a troll. And fangs-! Maybe this is all just some fucked up dream bubble where Kurloz has been all humanified but there are still trolls around!? In any case, Kurloz STARES HARD at the floating vampire, wondering if the guy can give him a proper explanation on the strangeness of the day.]

[He raises a skeptical eyebrow at the boy, but knows he can't mess around right now.]

It's off, it shouldn't be off. And I really need on if I'm going to make it to the well end of the week if I'm in a coma, end of well tomorrow if I enjoy pain. But, I don't.

[He starts to look pale.]

[He tugs Tony's hand away quickly and examines the dead reactor, brow furrowing as he mutters:]

... It's wrong. It's not meant to be like this-

[He hadn't examined the previous adult Tony's arc reactor in THAT much detail but he knew how it was meant to work and what it was meant to look like. And this wasn't it. There was no magic. No wonder it was dead...]

Breathe.

[He gets his wand from his robes and casts a spell without thinking, making the dead reactor generate magnetic waves towards the shrapnel without powering it up. He doesn't even know how long the spell will last, he's not a doctor, not yet, and all he can think now is that he has to get Tony to one of the professors before it does run out.]

That should hold for half an hour, maybe. We need to hurry, come on. [Tugs on Tony's wrist, heading for the dorm exit.]

[He frowns at he's tugged at so Bruce can see the reactor]

Oi, hey. You know I know it's not meant to be like th- Breath. Really?

[He raises his eyebrows at the wand and the familiar feel of the magnetic pulsing.]

Okay, wait what kind of... This isn't mine, is it S.H.I.E.L.D?

[He looks it over cautiously, then with great trepidation slips the reactor back into his chest.]

Half an hour?

[He almost starts to pull his hand away.]

Okay, kid. I have no idea who you are, what your tech is or where you're trying to take me. So how about we use some of your apparent half hour of time to get me in the know, here.

Look, I don't know where the people who can help are exactly, so it could easily take over 30 minutes to find them. You can ask questions while we walk.

[Keeps tugging him along, mind racing as he realises this Tony's a muggle.]

[To be fair, he sort of has a good reason not to trust 'random' people leading him about.]

-=so far whatever was happening to everyone is awesome as far as tavros is concerned, goofy ass outfit not withstanding. he can walk! he can walk and run and jump and he doesn't even need braces to do it!

he could do without the creepy blank eyes and the maw full of pointy teeth. every tooth in his mouth seems to be sharp and he's pretty sure he's cut his lips on all of them by now. the horns are cool though. he can totally dig the bull horns. he just hopes he remembers to be careful when he turns around because he's been the cause of more than one concussion already.

[Even with the giant fangs and the spiraling candy-corn horns, Gamzee is probably still recognizable to Tavros. He's wearing basically the same clothes, after all, and has that unmistakable face paint. The tall, lanky figure is pulling up short when he sees the frolicking brownblood, though, looking both stunned and amazed.]

Woah, Tavbro, you got some fronds what are jigging and bopping every which way!

Look like what? [Gamzee asks in confusion, looking down at himself, then seriously contemplating one hand for what seems like forever, before glancing back up at Karkat, grinning suddenly.] I got you all up in my sniff ducts, bro!

[While he's still in the dorms, he may see a familiar troll, either because he's met Gamzee before, or because Gamzee looks a lot like how Kurloz is supposed to look. The indigoblood seems to be contemplating one of the moving portraits, his expression somewhat slack and blank. That is, until he hears the human, and he spins, his eyes blazing brilliant orange, a juggling club appearing in his hand-]

Oh, shit, it's another one of you pink star monkeys. [He relaxes a little, and grins dopily, the club disappearing.]

[Oh, hey, look, it's an actual troll-bodied troll! This one kind of looks like Kurloz, except younger, and with clown facepaint instead of skull, and oh, an apparently working mouth. He's slouching around, staring at everything, and throwing a juggling club up in the air absently and catching it, over and over.]

[That is one lanky gray-skinned dude with big horns wandering around the halls! He seems pretty happy with the world (maybe because he's wearing clown make-up), but also a little befuddled - he has no idea how he got here, with all these aliens and talking paintings and shit. Did they get their universe after all? That would be pretty motherfuckin' dope, except that's not quite how he remembers it. It wouldn't be the first time he'd totally forgotten something, though, except he's been remarkably clear in his thoughts lately, hasn't he? And a little ... on-edge?

Maybe he should find Karkat. He's not sure why, but that sounds like an EXCELLENT idea.]

[The giant troll stoops a little, staring at the other, then recognizes the scars.] Ampora.

[He straightens again, the purple painted bones of his armor rattling. In a non-castle environment, he probably wouldn't even be able to stand, not with his height AND those massive horns.] Do you even recognize what we are? I'm no walking bestiary, but these forms are entirely unfamiliar.

[Rhys had thought he'd gotten used to all the little changes the castle liked to enact, having been female, younger, older ... but no, this was entirely new. He didn't even recognize what he was. All he knew was that he'd woken on a bed he'd no longer fit on, promptly slammed his massive horns into the ceiling as he stood up, and then sent students scattering in all directions screaming when he'd emerged out into the hallway, heading toward his House to check on his children. He didn't even have his wand, and was apparently incapable of performing even simple wandless spells. How frustrating.

From the odd forms glimpsed here and there, it's clear this has happened to more than one person (as usual), but no one will stay within arm's reach long enough to talk to him.]

[Rose is also wandering through the halls. She's quite taken to her surroundings.]

This is peculiar. Never have I ever thought I'd see this as a reality. This must be some estrange dream bubble of some kind.

[She does notice Murdoc though, and she's quite surprised at his appearance. This makes her think even more that it's a dream bubble. She has yet to ever see an adult troll!] Excuse me? I am usually familiar with younger troll associates, but you are surprisingly elder.

I'm glad I've found you. Have you found any of our other companions? I'm unsure as to whether this is a dream bubble or if we've seemingly arrived at our destination, albeit I'm skeptical of that. I'm sure one did not seemingly recreate their planet to the Land of Hogwarts and Wizadry.

[Oh look! It's tiny Roxy's teenager mom. She's got her God Tier threads and everything. She seems taken aback by Dirk's appearance, although she mostly just seems surprised.]

[Rose is traversing through the school. She is highly considering reading all the books in the library. Sure, she should figure out why she's here and what happened to her companions. Maybe it's all just a rather complex dream bubble. She rather explore a bit first, though.

She doesn't know how long she'll be here.] Ah. I don't think I can find anyone in this place. Much too large. What a conundrum. [She's fucking lost as hell.]

[France? Meet traffic cone colored Rose. She's rather taken aback at his appearance. Not because he's special looking, but because it's been a long time since she's seen a human that wasn't her friends or the guardians.]
