WHAT: Canon selves event! A seance gone awry has had its effect on the school, bringing about mental and physical changes to students and staff alike! Full details of the combinations of effects can be found here.
STATUS: Ongoing! Use whichever style you like.

[Spring brings change, but that change isn't always a good thing! Whether your character has changed entirely into their canon self, or only in part, please keep in mind that whatever they know/learn of their original canon during this event will be unable to be clearly recalled - disappearing with their past self - when the event is over. This is to avoid fourth-walling after the conclusion of the event.

Please also keep in mind that some people will not want to fourth-wall during the event! Make sure it's alright with the other player before you decide to do that. Above all, though, have fun!]

Look, do you want to live or not?

Yeah okay. So we're being vague?

[Actually starts walking to not be dragged]

Well I've had to live through worst. But fine, I'll let the dragging continue if you're so set on it.

You wouldn't believe me if I told you exactly what's what anyway.

[Keeps tugging him along, down the halls and past the students.]

Relax though, we're not in Afghanistan or anything. We're in England.

[arrogantalloy]

I've probably had to deal with worse. Never really thought for a moment this was Afghanistan. They're not really big on.

[He glances around.]

Castles.

So I gathered.

[Enters Hospital Wing and glances around, trying to find one of the nurses.]

[arrogantalloy]

Hmm.

[Tony tries to straighten up as they enter the room, to try and look a little less pathetic. Then rubs along the rim of the reactor.]

Whatever you did to this. Could use a faster pulse rate, might want to keep that in mind next time you poke at someone's EM life support systems.

You're lucky I knew a magnetic spell at all.

[Has noticed how pathetic Tony's looking and it's REALLY NOT HELPING HIS NERVES as obvious by his eyes going bright green without him noticing.]

Look just... sit tight and I'll go find someone.

[Points at a bed, expecting Tony to sit.]

[arrogantalloy]

[As un fun as Tony's feeling right now, it doesn't mean he doesn't notice the iris colour change.]

Hey, what's with the eye thing?

[He looks around the room again.]

You one of Xaviers?

[greenmoonrising]

[Pauses.]

What? Who's Xavier?

[Shock gets green out of his eyes as he frowns at Tony.]

[arrogantalloy]

Yeah, bald, wheelchair teaches 'special' kids in an out of the way place.

[greenmoonrising]

... Never heard of him. [Rolls eyes and resumes going to back room in hopes of finding a nurse.]

[arrogantalloy]

Hmm. Then what's with the eyes? [Just stands there waiting for something to happen. Fighting the urge to sway.]

[greenmoonrising]

It's a condition.

[Finds one of the nurses and leads her back to Tony, letting her examine the chest and explaining in detail about the arc reactor and the shrapnel before she begins poking her wand at it carefully.]

Tony, try to bear with this, please.

[arrogantalloy]

Yeah, I bet it is.

[Tony sits there as he's poked and prodded at. Looking a mix of peaky and unimpressed with being poked and prodded at.]

Well, I'm not really being given too many other options here now, am I? There wouldn't be any chance of a drink now, would there?

[The nurse takes a moment before casting a spell anchored to the reactor, generating a steady magnetic pulse to keep the shrapnel from moving closer to Tony's heart. After telling Tony to rest for at least an hour to get used to the spell, she bustles off to tend to increasing numbers of students and staff alike with issues.

Bruce just watches Tony, eyes a bit greener than normal but still not so obviously bright as before.]

... Do you need some water or anything?

[arrogantalloy]

[Tony sighs, sounding put out about being told to rest, and starts doing up his shirt while standing.]

I was thinking something a little stronger than that. Guessing that's not an option though, so how about some coffee? Or just point me to a way out, I have things to get back to. So... Bruce, huh?

[He raises an eyebrow at him as he adjusts everything after he's all buttoned up.]

You look. Familiar.

Kind of hard to get liquor in a school, though I'm sure some of the professors might have some... Then again, I'm not sure how well you'd down Firewhiskey.

[Stares at him with a raised brow.]

You already said that.

[arrogantalloy]

I'm sure my liver would disagree. Not that it would really encourage it.

I was kind of worrying about other things right then. What with my life support kind of failing. But now I want to go back onto that topic.

[He starts to give him a scrutinising look.]

[greenmoonrising]

You should probably learn to stop depending on alcohol for your issues. [Shrugs and glances away.]

Sit down, I'll get you some water.

[arrogantalloy]

[He raises an eyebrow at Bruce.]

Okay, starting to think you know more about me than actually is available on the internet, here.

[Then he shakes his head a little, heading towards the door.]

How about there's a raincheck on that water, and you just direct me to somewhere where I can get out of the anti-electric goings on here. Because I need to make some calls so I can you know, leave.

Judging by what's been happening around school today [Checked journals and saw what was happening with the kids around campus] I imagine it'll only be a few hours before you're returned home anyway. Besides, the 'anti-electric' field extends quite a few miles around the school and there's only the one train that heads to London... which only runs occasionally. Though I guess you could use the Fl- No, it should be solved in a few hours. These things never last long.

Now sit and wait.

[Gets water.]

Good thing I'm not worried about walking, kind have don't a lot of it in my time, and in drier hotter conditions. And once I'm out of range, I can just call for a taxi. Or a helicopter, you know I'll work with what I can get.

And what was that about a fl? What's the Fl I can try?

You don't have a phone on you and I guarantee you won't find one within a hundred mile radius of this castle. [Hands over glass]

Seriously, just wait until everything's returned to normal.

[arrogantalloy]

[He looks at the glass]

Yeah, just put that down somewhere. I have a peeve.

[He fidgets a little at the thought of taking it.]

And you're still not explaining the fl thing.

[Freezes, looking a bit put-down about that because proper Tony has no problem with Bruce handing him things. He puts the expression away quickly though and sets the glass down at the bedside table before stepping away.]

Because we don't have the fl thing here anyway - it would make it too easy for students to sneak out of school if we did.
