Joyeux Anniversaire
WHO: Friends of Sybille +Eridan and Cronus if they wanana
TONE: CELEBRATORY
RATING: Drunk
WHEN: The night of the 8th of November
WHERE: Hogsmeade, some fancy place
WHAT: Sybille is turning 36!! Murdoc is paying for everyone's dinner in celebration of this fact!
It's a lovely autumn evening and the weather couldn't be more perfect for dining out. It might be chilly outside, but the restaurant is warm, friendly and damn does it ever smell good. If you mention the names Donoghue or Matteris at the door you'll be lead to a private room with a table set for enough room for all the people who expressed interest in attending and more.
There aren't decorations because this is a tasteful, adult party. What are you? Twelve? There aren't seating arrangements either so pick a spot and stop fussing before Murdoc pushes you into the one furthest from the food.
The food is already served and spread across the table. Like hell he had any intention of sitting around while every single person decided they wanted the lobster. Pretty much everything looks good, but save room for cake you money absorbing food sponges.

[He's saying all of this in a low voice so as not to be overheard, but with such a casual air that it's as if he isn't complimenting Dirk's accent that he shouldn't know about.]
I'd be lyin' if I said I hadn't contemplated it before, actually.
no subject
That's reserved for you and you alone.
[He rolls his eyes at that.]
You do and I might have to kick your ass.
no subject
You can try. [Smiiiirk.]
no subject
I can fucking succeed. If I remember correctly, I got the first hit in between us that one time.

no subject
[Y'know. When he kissed you.]
In a fair fight, there's no way you'd win.
no subject
If you challenged me to a proper fight and didn't launch at me with no warnin', I would beat you.
no subject
[He... can't argue with that one, to be honest. God damn it.]
That's a fuckin' lie. There's no way you'd win, not with a back like yours.
[That may or may not have been a low blow. But it fits well with Murdoc's reference.]
no subject
[Folding his arms over his chest.]
no subject
[Listen, he likes you a lot and everything, but do not question his ability to fight. He will kick your ass anyway.]
You should drop it, I'd hate to embarrass you in front of everyone here.
no subject
[Right back at you, asshole.]
If you think my back would stop me you are severely misunderestimatin' me.
no subject
I-
[He stops. What the fuck are they doing? This isn't a good road to be going down at all, and he can feel himself slowly getting to the point where he's legitimately taking it serious.
But now it's a matter of honour and whether they're together or not, he feels like he has something to prove.]
You wanna prove it, be my guest.
no subject
I don't think here is really the place for that. [He lowers his voice so that only he and Dirk can hear.]
If you come back to my room tonight I'll make you regret every single thing you said.
no subject
But then he speaks, and Bro has to roll his eyes behind his shades- until Murdoc says the last part, and suddenly he isn't exactly sure what Murdoc's asking for, exactly. Fuck.]
Fine, if that's how you want it. It'll be the other way around, though.
[And because he really wants the last word, and because he's still sort of tempted to give Murdoc a punch, he turns and stalks off.]
