[Guess who's never been on the ice before? Apparently Xion (incorrectly) assumed that being experienced with water meant that she would do well with FROZEN water.

This is Xion stumbling and sliding COMPLETELY OUT OF CONTROL trying to get a hold on something solid to keep her up.]

[Guess what, Xion? You bump into a grumpy-looking Gryffindor who almost looses his balance when you try to grab onto him.]

[He glances over his shoulder a little, raising an eyebrow at her.]

[HE'S TALKING TO HER. WHAT SHOULD SHE DO? It's not as easy to use speech as it is to use written words.

Oh. Oh lovely, her knees are shaking now. But Xion is calmly (read: shaking and beginning to hyperventilate) letting go of Shadow and backing away, attempting to say an apology for crashing into him. However, nothing comes out except small squeaks, which is then followed by a sharp cry when gravity kicks in and she falls backwards onto the ice.

Apparently you cannot walk backwards on ice when you don't know what you're doing in the first place, who knew.]

[Shadow paused a little when she started backing away. He had that effect on people, so he should have been prepared. When she starts falling, he reacts pretty much on instinct, reaching out to grab for one of her hands.]

Again? But he doesn't even know her and she just crashed into him.]
