WHERE: One of the unused classrooms
WHAT: Consider it a "we survived the first week of school" party
STATUS: On-going.

Dean and Marshall discussed throwing during the first weekend back at school. And guess what? They are. It was Dean's task to handle invites, which he did--to students in the fourth year and up, save for the Prefects and the Head Boy/Girl. The invites also instructed students to come to the party alone; groups of loud students would be suspicious! There are spells cast to make the classroom sound proof.

There's also an entrance fee of ten sickles. Seem a bit extreme? You're paying for quality. There's great music and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.



(OOC Note: Many of the Ravenclaws invites (with the exception of Tony's) insinuated that this was in fact a study session. Not a party. Surprise!)

[Tony comes into the party after dropping a Galleon to get in. He makes a beeline for the drinks an gets himself a tall drink before standing off to one side with a grin. He's looking snazzier than normal, a burgundy button down shirt and pressed slacks.

Tony's standing in a very practiced manner, from his years of SI gala's when he's there in the summer.]

[Tony stares at Maxim for a moment.]

Well Miss Lauper. If this was a formal event I'd be in a jacket and tie.

[He makes a point of looking down at himself.]

Seems like I'm missing those tonight don't you think.

[He puts his hands on his hips, cocking them to the side with a wicked grin]

Ho! So hyu iz! Hyu schtill lookink mighty fancy dere, Mr. Stark!

[Tony takes a sip from his drink.]

And I thought I was meant to be the heart breaker, no you.

Hy only see hyu in school uniform, und sorry, boy, ain't no one lookink fancy in dot. [he rolls his eyes, waving one hand dismissively]

Und hyu bet Hy em a heartbreaker! Hy've already got two under my belt, und ve only been here a week!

Wow, two. You regular Hefner, you. I should send an owl to Witch Weekly, so they know they have a real playboy at hogwarts.

[He rolls his eyes]

[He snorts, rolling his eyes and moving to lean against Tony]

[Tony gives Maxim a knowing smirk.]

Well hey, when I think there's an actual need to brag I will. Because really? Two? Once the numbers higher, then we'll talk.

Just think, I can get the world to see how awesome and great I am, just by standing here in a pressed shirt. It might not be as memorable as Olivia Newton John getting physical.

[He gestures to Maxim's outfit.]

But hey, this is one night. I'm always this great.

Besides- [He waves a hand dismissively, puffing himself up] Hyu couldn't pull off dis look if hyu tried. Enyvun ken look nize dressed like hyu, it takes SPECIAL talent to pull dis off.

[Tony runs a hand through his hair looking unconvinced.]

No really, I can believe that.

[He doesn't.

Tony watches him gestures then takes a bored sip of his drink.]

Well you're right about being having to be 'special' to wear something like that.

[For a moment, Maxim just stands there, eyes narrowed at Tony. Then he snorts, flicking a bit of hair over his shoulder and leaning against the wall next to the other boy]

Hyu tink hyu pritty schmott, huh?

[Tony doesn't even try to act phased by Maxims actions. Then he shrugs dismissively]

Well, I'm in Ravenclaw, skipped two years and I'm still in the top 5%. Really the facts kind of prove that I don't need to think I'm smart.
