Party Rock in da houuuuuuse toniiiight
WHO: Dean Winchester, Marshall Lee, anyone fourth year or older
TONE: Fun! It's a party.
RATING: PG-13 at most for language and shenanigans
WHEN: 8 September
WHERE: One of the unused classrooms
WHAT: Consider it a "we survived the first week of school" party
STATUS: On-going.
Dean and Marshall discussed throwing during the first weekend back at school. And guess what? They are. It was Dean's task to handle invites, which he did--to students in the fourth year and up, save for the Prefects and the Head Boy/Girl. The invites also instructed students to come to the party alone; groups of loud students would be suspicious! There are spells cast to make the classroom sound proof.
There's also an entrance fee of ten sickles. Seem a bit extreme? You're paying for quality. There's great music and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
(OOC Note: Many of the Ravenclaws invites (with the exception of Tony's) insinuated that this was in fact a study session. Not a party. Surprise!)

Since when do school parties need a cover charge?
no subject
Every since they had to be funded.
no subject
Well, yeah they do have to be funded. That's why if you do it right, you land yourself a backer. Someone who has money and enjoys a reputation. Well the reputation part isn't a major part, but it never hurts.

Are you offering, Stark?
no subject
I'm just saying that it makes more sense to have one.
[Of course he is offering. But he's not going to just come out and say it in the middle of a party.]
no subject
[He shrugs.]
With more preparation the next party'll be bigger and better.
no subject
[Tony drinks.]
With the right backer you can make a great impression with your parties.

[Have a flippant shrug, even if everything he's saying is more or less bs.]
But I dunno man, I don't think it could much better than this without the proper venues.

Though, the spell outside, the silencing charm? good job there.
no subject
Yeah, I thought it was pretty ingenious myself.
