WHERE: One of the unused classrooms
WHAT: Consider it a "we survived the first week of school" party
STATUS: On-going.

Dean and Marshall discussed throwing during the first weekend back at school. And guess what? They are. It was Dean's task to handle invites, which he did--to students in the fourth year and up, save for the Prefects and the Head Boy/Girl. The invites also instructed students to come to the party alone; groups of loud students would be suspicious! There are spells cast to make the classroom sound proof.

There's also an entrance fee of ten sickles. Seem a bit extreme? You're paying for quality. There's great music and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.



(OOC Note: Many of the Ravenclaws invites (with the exception of Tony's) insinuated that this was in fact a study session. Not a party. Surprise!)

Every since they had to be funded.

[Tony grabs a near by bottle and inspects it before putting it back down, putting a hand in his pocket as he does.]

Well, yeah they do have to be funded. That's why if you do it right, you land yourself a backer. Someone who has money and enjoys a reputation. Well the reputation part isn't a major part, but it never hurts.

This isn't an offer. Because really, this party has been and gone for backing.

I'm just saying that it makes more sense to have one.

[Of course he is offering. But he's not going to just come out and say it in the middle of a party.]

But I dunno man, I don't think it could much better than this without the proper venues.

I don't know about that. With the right imagination and resources, anything can happen. And believe me, there could have been a touch more imagination here.

Though, the spell outside, the silencing charm? good job there.
