Party Rock in da houuuuuuse toniiiight
WHO: Dean Winchester, Marshall Lee, anyone fourth year or older
TONE: Fun! It's a party.
RATING: PG-13 at most for language and shenanigans
WHEN: 8 September
WHERE: One of the unused classrooms
WHAT: Consider it a "we survived the first week of school" party
STATUS: On-going.
Dean and Marshall discussed throwing during the first weekend back at school. And guess what? They are. It was Dean's task to handle invites, which he did--to students in the fourth year and up, save for the Prefects and the Head Boy/Girl. The invites also instructed students to come to the party alone; groups of loud students would be suspicious! There are spells cast to make the classroom sound proof.
There's also an entrance fee of ten sickles. Seem a bit extreme? You're paying for quality. There's great music and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
(OOC Note: Many of the Ravenclaws invites (with the exception of Tony's) insinuated that this was in fact a study session. Not a party. Surprise!)

Ta-da. Present for you m'dear. Just put one in and it'll help with the noise a little. [He moves his hair away from his ear to show he already has one in.] It was a bit loud up there for me too.
[He smiles and slumps against the wall.]
Are you having fun so far?
no subject
[She takes the ear plug with her free hand, flipping the side of her hair up to put it in before resuming her position against the wall, shrugging and pretending to take a sip of her drink.]
Yeah, it's pretty cool. Your set was really good too.
no subject
Oh, thanks. I was trying to go for a mix of things and hopefully introduce people to some new stuff.
I'm not a huge fan of a lot of Wizard music though. Some of it is good but a lot of it is really cheesy or sounds like it's about a hundred years out of date...and I would know.
no subject
Yeah, tell me about it. I can't stand a lot of wizard music because it sounds like some kind of cat warbling out of tune.
no subject
...I'm not sure if I still can involuntarily puke or not but that song would probably make it happen.
no subject
[She pauses for dramatic reasons.]
None. Exactly.
no subject
I would never sing it myself but I can see why teenage girls lose their minds over it.
But requesting it of a punk rock band just shows you don't know shit about music.
no subject
[She shrugs a little.]
no subject
And the drunk person who claims that every song is about them.

[Marceline looks around the room, glancing here and there where she can see people and their housemates. How Winchester managed to smuggle alcohol in was anyone's guess. Then she glanced back at him, lowering her voice, a small bit of venom around one word.]
So do you usually use that for shows?
no subject
[Well..Winchester didn't smuggle all of it in, Marshall also had some via a secret compartment in his guitar case. He couldn't drink it so he might as well share. He smirked a little at the emphisis.]
Oh, you noticed that huh? Weeell..it depends on the crowd really. Everyone seemed kind of wound up and nervous about getting caught so I just...[He shrugs] helped them to relax is all.
no subject
[She pursed her lips together around the rim of her glass, a small frown on her face. While she understood Marshall's intentions, it was kind of hard to forget the near month she'd spent under Ash's compulsion. Watching it in action from the other side of the spectrum, it was easy to see how Ash had caught her.]
Better be careful. I know a lot of people around here aren't familiar with us but they'd still notice something's different even if they're intoxicated.

Certain events. Just. Certain events... he's going to try to find someone else to talk to, case in point... hey it's Marceline!! This'll turn out for the best. Yep.
He's still so drunk and everything that he's going to just casually lean up against the wall next to her, taking a sip of his completely alcoholic drink. Just... gonna stay as casual as he can right now. ]
Ahh, hey Marce. How's it hangin'?
no subject
I guess you could say it's bumpin'.
no subject
Bumpin'...
[...OH OH .. Oh. He gets it!! Especially how stupid he's laughing right now.]
Oh!! Man that's a good one, wow oh shit.
no subject
You're completely off your head, aren't you? I thought your new boyfriend would be gentlemanly enough to help you back to the dorms.
no subject
H-He's not my boyfriend! I fuckin' hate him and some asshole bumped right into him and he couldn't keep his balance and he fell and it's all his fuckin' fault! Th-there's no way I'd ewen think of ewen considerin' him anythin' l-like that!
no subject
Cool your jets, Eri, I'm just kidding. I know an accident when I see one.
no subject
... Sorry. I'm just... hopin' either no one else saw that or they figured it was also an accident. I don't really need that on me.
no subject
[She'd been dancing with Marshall when it had happened too, so for something like that to distract her, it had been kind of strange. She felt almost territorial, but had managed to keep herself in check. There was no sense flipping out when it had been an accident.
Still, she had to question herself why she'd felt that way.]
I only noticed because your heartbeat changed. Everyone's too busy being caught up in their own shenanigans.
no subject
[He was about to go on, but he just needs to change his position, he's still pretty woozy from all of the alcohol, and he removes his hand to hold up a finger. ]
... Hold on.
[He just... can't actually take standing right now. Shifting himself to where his back was against the wall, he gently slid down until he was sitting down. Gently setting his glass down beside him, he crossed his arms over his stomach, looking up at her.
He also lost whatever he was going to say on his way down.]
no subject
I think everyone's pretty aware that you and Captor hate each other's guts, Eri. [She shrugs.] And if anybody says anything you can blame it on the alcohol.
no subject
I'm so glad it's pretty obwious, if it wasn't I'd hawe to make it ewen more obwious. [Huff.] Yeah. Blame it on the alcohol...
[With a sigh, he tries to turn the conversation into something else.] So uh... how're you? Had a nice time so far durin' the party right? [Stutter sputter.] You look nice tonight. [oh dude what did you just say.....]
no subject
[She doesn't say anything about the stutter, instead adjusting the shoulder strap of her dress. She tilts her head with a grin.]
We danced and he was the girl. [She laughs a little.] He's such a dork.
