WHAT: Consider it a "we survived the first week of school" party

Dean and Marshall discussed throwing during the first weekend back at school. And guess what? They are. It was Dean's task to handle invites, which he did--to students in the fourth year and up, save for the Prefects and the Head Boy/Girl. The invites also instructed students to come to the party alone; groups of loud students would be suspicious! There are spells cast to make the classroom sound proof.

There's also an entrance fee of ten sickles. Seem a bit extreme? You're paying for quality. There's great music and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.



(OOC Note: Many of the Ravenclaws invites (with the exception of Tony's) insinuated that this was in fact a study session. Not a party. Surprise!)

[Truth be told, Roxas didn't really socialize outside of his small group of friends. Even being a Quidditch enthusiast like he was, he made an effort to know his teammate's names at least.]

I told him it's no big deal but he insists on paying me back somehow.

I've been okay I guess. I was able to buy a new broom with my Struggle winnings though! You don't have to look at my old Comet anymore.

Hmm if he keeps on insisting just tell him that you will pay him back by helping us win the Quittch cup.

Thanks. I like to think it's both parts the rider and the broom that make it fly well. Kind of like that theory that as long as you treat things right, they'll treat you the same in return. Or was that people?

I think that applies more to people, though with a lot of things in the magical world i found, i have to treat it like its a human or otherwise it doesn't really work.

So yeah, that probably does apply to brooms.

[She knew she could get the boy to open up, just needed to find the right topic, she is not surprised that Xion is good friends with Roxas.]

[It's not really that hard to get Roxas to talk. All you need to do is approach with one of two subjects and you're fine. He's a bit standoffish with some people though, but that's just who he is.]

I figured. It's better to assume everything in the magical world is sentient until proven otherwise, I've found.
