WHERE: One of the unused classrooms
WHAT: Consider it a "we survived the first week of school" party
STATUS: On-going.

Dean and Marshall discussed throwing during the first weekend back at school. And guess what? They are. It was Dean's task to handle invites, which he did--to students in the fourth year and up, save for the Prefects and the Head Boy/Girl. The invites also instructed students to come to the party alone; groups of loud students would be suspicious! There are spells cast to make the classroom sound proof.

There's also an entrance fee of ten sickles. Seem a bit extreme? You're paying for quality. There's great music and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.



(OOC Note: Many of the Ravenclaws invites (with the exception of Tony's) insinuated that this was in fact a study session. Not a party. Surprise!)

Let's not talk about this here and forget it. If any of my friends overhear, your cover would be blown. Let's just have some lumping fun already.

[He smiles and nods. hooray, crisis averted]

That's totally fine with me.
[He holds out a hand]

[She tilts her head at the offered hand before reaching to take it, lips tugging upwards into a smirk.]

If you think you can keep up with me.

[marshall_lee]

[He gives her a wicked grin before spinning her smartly out onto the dance floor.]

I think I can do that.

[She returns the grin before spinning back to him, slipping her other arm around his waist. Being pureblood, Marceline was pretty much raised knowing how to ballroom dance. She leaned in, tilting her head.]

Then I guess you don't mind if I take the lead, huh?

[marshall_lee]

[Marshall wasn't a pureblood but when he was young ballroom dancing was pretty much one of the only forms of dancing. He bats his eyelashes and simpers.]

I suppose I can be the girl. [He puts on a falsetto Southern bell voice] Wah ah DO declare Mister Mahceline you DO dance dahviiiinely.

[She laughs, but she does respond in kind, deepening her voice as much as she can, dipping him.]

Why Miss Marshall, you say the simply flattering things when I should be complimenting you on your dress. It brings out the colour of your eyes, and may I say I could get lost in them.

[marshall_lee]

[He squeals appropriately at the dip.]
Oh you flatterer you!
[He drops the voice and glances around grinning.]
People are going to think we're nuts, you know that right?

[She lets out a small puff of air before grinning and straightening them.]

Who the heck cares? This is a party, isn't it?

[marshall_lee]

True that.
[He continues to twirl around.]
Hey if anything we can claim to be drunk.

I'm sure someone's spiked the punch by now. It's not like it'll make any difference.

[Though she is a little curious about how much vampires can drink, if anything, but she's not going to risk it. Instead, she reaches over him to help him twirl around.]

[marshall_lee]

Also true. I can drink a few glasses before I start feeling sick but it's usually not worth even bothering with.
[He pulls a flask out of his back pocket.]
Easier to pretend and put something in here that can actually help you.

[She blinks a little at the flask before she shakes her head, smirking.]

You think of everything, don't you?

[marshall_lee]

What can I say..I've had enough time to figure some things out.
[He puts the flask back in his pocket.]
Let me know if you need any. I promise I don't have cooties.

I've already eaten tonight, but thanks for the offer. You can keep your cooties.

[He pretends to be offended.]
Hey now, just because these lips have done a lot of smooching doesn't mean I have cooties.

[She reaches up to poke his nose.]

Sure it doesn't. Well, I guess it's not like you're a zombie or anything.
