Party Rock in da houuuuuuse toniiiight
WHO: Dean Winchester, Marshall Lee, anyone fourth year or older
TONE: Fun! It's a party.
RATING: PG-13 at most for language and shenanigans
WHEN: 8 September
WHERE: One of the unused classrooms
WHAT: Consider it a "we survived the first week of school" party
STATUS: On-going.
Dean and Marshall discussed throwing during the first weekend back at school. And guess what? They are. It was Dean's task to handle invites, which he did--to students in the fourth year and up, save for the Prefects and the Head Boy/Girl. The invites also instructed students to come to the party alone; groups of loud students would be suspicious! There are spells cast to make the classroom sound proof.
There's also an entrance fee of ten sickles. Seem a bit extreme? You're paying for quality. There's great music and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
(OOC Note: Many of the Ravenclaws invites (with the exception of Tony's) insinuated that this was in fact a study session. Not a party. Surprise!)

Oh, thanks. I was trying to go for a mix of things and hopefully introduce people to some new stuff.
I'm not a huge fan of a lot of Wizard music though. Some of it is good but a lot of it is really cheesy or sounds like it's about a hundred years out of date...and I would know.
no subject
Yeah, tell me about it. I can't stand a lot of wizard music because it sounds like some kind of cat warbling out of tune.
no subject
...I'm not sure if I still can involuntarily puke or not but that song would probably make it happen.
no subject
[She pauses for dramatic reasons.]
None. Exactly.
no subject
I would never sing it myself but I can see why teenage girls lose their minds over it.
But requesting it of a punk rock band just shows you don't know shit about music.
no subject
[She shrugs a little.]

And the drunk person who claims that every song is about them.

[Marceline looks around the room, glancing here and there where she can see people and their housemates. How Winchester managed to smuggle alcohol in was anyone's guess. Then she glanced back at him, lowering her voice, a small bit of venom around one word.]
So do you usually use that for shows?
no subject
[Well..Winchester didn't smuggle all of it in, Marshall also had some via a secret compartment in his guitar case. He couldn't drink it so he might as well share. He smirked a little at the emphisis.]
Oh, you noticed that huh? Weeell..it depends on the crowd really. Everyone seemed kind of wound up and nervous about getting caught so I just...[He shrugs] helped them to relax is all.

[She pursed her lips together around the rim of her glass, a small frown on her face. While she understood Marshall's intentions, it was kind of hard to forget the near month she'd spent under Ash's compulsion. Watching it in action from the other side of the spectrum, it was easy to see how Ash had caught her.]
Better be careful. I know a lot of people around here aren't familiar with us but they'd still notice something's different even if they're intoxicated.
no subject
[He notices she seems tense and the full reality of why just kind of hits him. Shit. Now he feels really bad. He sighs and hangs his head a little.]
I'm sorry..I forgot...[He trails off a bit.] I never do it to make people do stuff or act against their will or anything. Messing with peoples heads isn't cool.
no subject
Don't. It's okay. I believe you. It's just...me being stupid. I guess I'm still a little bitter.
no subject
Well, you have every right to be. I would be too..hell, I still kinda am and I was a dumb ass who willfully went through with it.
no subject
Let's not talk about this here and forget it. If any of my friends overhear, your cover would be blown. Let's just have some lumping fun already.
no subject
That's totally fine with me.
[He holds out a hand]
Let's dance.
no subject
If you think you can keep up with me.
no subject
I think I can do that.
no subject
Then I guess you don't mind if I take the lead, huh?
no subject
I suppose I can be the girl. [He puts on a falsetto Southern bell voice] Wah ah DO declare Mister Mahceline you DO dance dahviiiinely.
no subject
Why Miss Marshall, you say the simply flattering things when I should be complimenting you on your dress. It brings out the colour of your eyes, and may I say I could get lost in them.
no subject
Oh you flatterer you!
[He drops the voice and glances around grinning.]
People are going to think we're nuts, you know that right?
no subject
Who the heck cares? This is a party, isn't it?
no subject
[He continues to twirl around.]
Hey if anything we can claim to be drunk.
no subject
[Though she is a little curious about how much vampires can drink, if anything, but she's not going to risk it. Instead, she reaches over him to help him twirl around.]
no subject
[He pulls a flask out of his back pocket.]
Easier to pretend and put something in here that can actually help you.
