WHAT: Consider it a "we survived the first week of school" party

Dean and Marshall discussed throwing during the first weekend back at school. And guess what? They are. It was Dean's task to handle invites, which he did--to students in the fourth year and up, save for the Prefects and the Head Boy/Girl. The invites also instructed students to come to the party alone; groups of loud students would be suspicious! There are spells cast to make the classroom sound proof.

There's also an entrance fee of ten sickles. Seem a bit extreme? You're paying for quality. There's great music and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.



(OOC Note: Many of the Ravenclaws invites (with the exception of Tony's) insinuated that this was in fact a study session. Not a party. Surprise!)

Concert Time!

[Marshall had set everything up for his show ahead of time. Instruments have been tuned and charmed, a Sonorus charm also cast for maximum volume level and the set list has been decided. At some point after a good number of people began trickling in Marshall decides that it's show time. The Sonorus charm had been cast on the guitar to pick up both the tunes and his voice. He slings the guitar over his body, clears his throat and literally turns on the charm.]

"Hey Hogwarts! We've survived the first week so far but now it's time to party! Enjoy."

[He begins to play and sing and he's awesome. And he won't lie..he's totally using a bit of his vampire charm to draw peoples attention to him. What can he say? He loves playing and he loves attention. He plays this complete set:

Thanks man. I tried to play a variety of stuff. I was going for high energy. I didn't really get much into a lot of classics though. I'm kinda regretting not doing Kiss's "Rock and Roll All Nite" or Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It."

Rock and old alternative will always be the best to me.

[Marshall slips his hand around Maxims waist and laughs.]
Thanks. Ah, sorry dude, I don't really do a lot of dance type stuff. I just wanted to get everyone's energy up.
We've got everything set up to play more dance-type stuff now though. Any requests? [He returns the eyebrow wiggle.]

[humming thoughtfully, he wraps his other arm around Marshall's neck as well, swinging himself around to his front, so they're hip to hip] Hyu got Basshunter? Mebbe zum Pendulum? Eric Prydez?

[He leans forward a little so they're nearly touching foreheads.]
Basshunter I think we have. I don't know about Pendulum or Eric Prydez though.
I'm sadly low on dance type stuff.

[Smirks a bit, closing the distance between them with lidded eyes]

[He gives a lazy smile.]

Oh no worries there. I wouldn't dream of laying a hand on your...Lady Gaga.

Mmmm, rawr~ [He waggles his eyebrows... and his hips] Soch a feisty boy! Vould hyu mebbe radder take a ride on my dizco schtick instead?

[He chuckles and does a little dance of his own.]

How about we stick to dancing for now hmm?

If hyu vish~ [He flashes a smile, moving to spin him and Marshall around in a circle] Perhaps iz bedder. Vouldn't vant to be tempted to eat hyu heart too.

[He willingly accepts the spin and dances along.]

Ah, so you're assuming I actually have a heart to eat? That's nice of you.

[Well, if anything would make his heart start beating again it would be the feeling of panic. He's going to play it cool though.]

[He shrugs one shoulder casually, cupping a hand around Marshall's neck] Chust a feelink. [He moves his hand down the Slytherin's shoulder, resting it on his bicep] Und Hy haff enough aunties vit dead hearts to know.

[Marshall raises an eyebrow in question and looks directly at him.]

[He quirks his lips into half a smile and leans into the other boy]
Undead aunties huh? Sounds like you have an interesting family.

Und uncles, too. Dere's a leedle bit ov efferyting, in my family. [he smiles as Marshall leans in, mirror the move until his nose bumps against the vampires, his voice lowered] Hy von't tell.

Oh? What kind of things.
[He leans back and looks Maxim in the eyes intently but not using any kind of compulsion. He's beginning to doubt something like that would work on Maxim anyways. He has to know if the other boy figured it out though. He lowers his voice to match.]
