WHAT: Consider it a "we survived the first week of school" party

Dean and Marshall discussed throwing during the first weekend back at school. And guess what? They are. It was Dean's task to handle invites, which he did--to students in the fourth year and up, save for the Prefects and the Head Boy/Girl. The invites also instructed students to come to the party alone; groups of loud students would be suspicious! There are spells cast to make the classroom sound proof.

There's also an entrance fee of ten sickles. Seem a bit extreme? You're paying for quality. There's great music and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.



(OOC Note: Many of the Ravenclaws invites (with the exception of Tony's) insinuated that this was in fact a study session. Not a party. Surprise!)

Because obwiously if there's a large enough turnout of students collectin' in a classroom then um duh there might be a bit of suspicion.

Plus you know, if one of the teachers or someone got a hold of one of the inwites or somethin' they could... I don't know, come in an' check on us or somethin'.

[After his set is over with Marshall makes his way over to say hi. He digs into his pocket and produces a pair of ear plugs.]

Ta-da. Present for you m'dear. Just put one in and it'll help with the noise a little. [He moves his hair away from his ear to show he already has one in.] It was a bit loud up there for me too.
[He smiles and slumps against the wall.]

[She takes the ear plug with her free hand, flipping the side of her hair up to put it in before resuming her position against the wall, shrugging and pretending to take a sip of her drink.]

Yeah, and that's another reason why it'd be a shame if someone other than a student got a hold of one of those inwites. [And then his eyes thin.] Oh no, I hawe a point, shockin' isn't it.

Oh, thanks. I was trying to go for a mix of things and hopefully introduce people to some new stuff.
I'm not a huge fan of a lot of Wizard music though. Some of it is good but a lot of it is really cheesy or sounds like it's about a hundred years out of date...and I would know.

Thanks man. I tried to play a variety of stuff. I was going for high energy. I didn't really get much into a lot of classics though. I'm kinda regretting not doing Kiss's "Rock and Roll All Nite" or Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It."

[ Suddenly one of the more rowdy peeps in this room bumps into him harshly, making him lose his balance and fall forward, right into the person that was an inch away from his face.

[ COUGH COUGH BLEGH EW NO WHY. He just gets the fuck up and backs away as fast as possible, spitting out all the saliva he can to get that stench out of his mouth. He turns around and starts yelling all the profanities in his vocabulary at someone behind him, but they don't seem to listen. His face completely flushed and gasping for breath, he turns his head toward the ground. ]

[Yep, by this point that Sollux has his little stunt done, Eridan's facing the wall for the moment, dry heaving because oh god SPIT GROSS WHAT AUGH. HE LITERALLY HAS NO IDEA HOW TO HANDLE THAT AT ALL TO BE HONEST. After a few moments of being overly dramatic he turns back to him, staring him down.
