[He looks down at his hand and manages a contemplative look.] I do actually..I'm kinda anemic. My normal body temperature runs a little cooler than most peoples. I usually take a potion to help with it but in all the excitementn of the day I kinda forgot..

Too lazy to look up anemia right now.

Oh! I don't know very much about anemia, but from the little I've read, it would explain your circulation. And I can't say I blame you for forgetting about your potion. This is all very exciting and would probably be especially exciting for you. Did you only just transfer here? Where did you go to school before?

And please do take me up on my offer! The castle can be quite overwhelming if you're not used to it.

It's not really a big deal. Iron deficiency is pretty common..it just hits some people harder.

I just got here..I didn't go to regular school. We moved around a lot so I had tutors. This is the first time I've been to an actual school in a while.

That's what I've understood. But I suppose you've found a way to manage it, which is very resourceful of you. Did you devise this potion yourself, or was it prescribed to you?

And you shouldn't have too many problems finding your classes, even if you're not used to formal schooling. Just be mindful of the staircases. They can be challenging at first.

Oh, I didn't come up with it. The formula for it has been around for a while. I'll just go get it in the hospital wing and keep some of it with me if I start feeling peaky.

Oh yeah, they're supposed to change a lot huh? I guess I'd better not ever be late then huh?

That's the best way to avoid being too inconvenienced by them. Now that I think on it, they might change to encourage punctuality.
I can't imagine why else someone would enchant staircases in that way. What do you think?

I'm not sure. I always figured the castle is so old and full of magic that in some ways it might have a life of its own.
