[He stops outside a door, gives it a speculative look, then pushes it. It makes a noise, as if it's about to give the most brain-twisting creak imaginable, but nothing happens and it swings open silently]

[Herbert pulls his trunk into the room, looking around. Eriq's bed is probably easy to spot, and he makes a beeline for it, settling his stuff at the foot of it.]

I've no interest in a Ministry position. Can you imagine all the red tape required to be a piece of furniture there? No, the bureaucracy would stifle me, never allowing me the freedom of other chairs and tables and credenzas.

There are several other obviously medically themed texts as well - something titled "Medical Apartheid" and something else called "Regeneration: Principles". There's also a slim notebook that Herbert pulls out - apparently he takes personal notes when he reads.] Thank you, Kirkland.
