WHAT: Ravenclaw and Gryffindor are rained out of house and home, and are forced to bunk with the Slytherin/Ravenclaws for a week.

[It sounds much better than 'running away', and besides, it isn't as if she's been given a choice as to how badly such a situation affects her. He tolerates the contact for a little while, thumbing lightly over her shoulder, then he coughs awkwardly and steps away, still slightly pink]

[How's she going to play Quidditch this season if she can't handle crowds? Or schoolwork or anything of the sort. With any luck Marshall will help her out if she asks but not until she was done trying to do it on her own. She bit her bottom lip, the tip of a fang poking out of her mouth as she crossed her arms around herself, glancing away when he pulls away from her.]

I think they're too absorbed in themselves to notice. Their heartbeats didn't suggest otherwise.

[Leaning back slightly, he looks over to the bustling groups of students and lets out a short 'hmn' sound. Of course no one had noticed. Far too absorbed in themselves, as she'd said. Though.. Arthur only noticed because Marceline is his friend, and he knows of the potential difficulties she might face]

It's only for a week. I can't say I'm a fan of this situation myself, but maybe it'll be easier for you when the Ravenclaws are gone.

[It might be. Being thrown into this type of situation so soon probably wasn't good in any way. She leaned against a nearby wall and sank down, placing her head in her hands with a small huff before looking up at him.]

Maybe. I might ask Bonnie to sleep in the fourth year dorm instead of the third year dorm. I have Vriska, Rose and Terezi but I've known Bonnie longer. Having a friend around to snap me out of it like you did will be better for everyone.

[He blinks down at her, then crouches beside her, quiet for a moment before settling back into a sitting position and leaning forwards]

I don't know if they'll just.. let you do that, but it's worth a shot. Besides, with so many people, it might not even be noticed.

[She shrugs. Honestly she didn't know what else she could do. It wasn't like she could go into the boy's dorms and curl up with Eridan or seek solace with Marshall. It kind of sucked like that, no pun intended.]

I'll ask Dumbledor or Professor Matteris. It's overcrowded as it is so I'm sure swapping one room for another won't matter.

I'll certainly wish you the best of luck. Mm, I suppose the professors would be more understanding.. I assume they all know about your.. circumstances.

[He's not sure why he hesitated in finding a word that felt right]

[Marceline looks at him out the corner of her eye.]

[Arthur scoots over and leans against the wall beside her, tilting his head back and looking up at the ceiling]

Sometimes, I think I'm just too bloody nice for this House.

[Except he knows he can be an utter ruthless bastard when he wants to be.. he just happens to like Marceline]

[Marceline laughs a little at that before lowering herself into a slump against the wall, crossing her legs and placing her hands in the center. Her shaking had long since stopped. She can be an outright bitch when she needs to be too, especially to people who are easy to tease and rile up.]

Don't tell Eridan I said this, but we cuddle sometimes. If anyone knew we'd probably ruin Slytherin's reputation single handedly.
