WHERE: Hogwarts Express/Platform 9 3/4 and The Great Hall
WHAT: Gotta get back to Hogwarts! Back to witches and wizards and magical feasts! Students and teachers are finally heading back to school on the Hogwarts express, and with the new school year means sorting for the first years!
STATUS: Ongoing!
NOTE: There is a thread for the Train back to Hogwarts, and the Feast, with a subthread for the Sorting! First years can comment to be sorted, and everyone else can greet their new house mates/students!

[Tony looks at Gamzee for a second then pulls out his wallet from his back pocket and takes out a card and offers it to Gamzee.]

Know how a telephone? Well it doesn't really matter, this place takes owls too. It's a driver service. Tell them you'd like a car on the Stark Industries account. It's twenty-four hour service, and they can either wait out for you or just com back at a set time. I mean you don't need it when going out for liquorice all sorts or anything but, you know, for seeing people.

[He speaks easily, as his offer is no big deal.]

Oh, yes they was that as well, that was seriously crazy what happened there. I suppose though we should put this summer behind us, though i doubt this year at Hogwarts is going to be any less drama, i guess we have to wait and see. [She shrugs her shoulders.] Probably just as bad as the rest of us at change!

[She stares at the scarf as Eridan releases the ferret under it.] Oh His so cuuuuuute!! [Next thing you know is that Feferi is riiight next to Eridan, leaning over, wanting to pet him but obviously she is not going to touch him until the owner allows her too.] He seriously is so aborableeeee!! Can i pat him??

[Even though she is distracted by Caligula, she is still listening to him.] That's pretty cool!! Always wondered what was the ring from since i never see you as the type to be wearing jewellery, you should me those mementos some time!!

[Oh, okay, he's stopped. Good. Arthur feels a little light-headed, probably thanks to all of his blood being in his face rather than in more vital areas. Arthur pushes a hand into his pocket, and pulls out the twist of paper that the other boy had given him]

What exactly is in this? And if you say 'motherfucking tea' I will brain you, I swear to god.

... but it really is. I wanted to be making something you could have. I added some shit, but nothing ... you know, nothing that would get you high, just to make it taste a little different. And sometimes tea smell be reminding me of you.

[He twirls the thing between his fingers, then reaches over for his bag and tucks it carefully into one of the pockets]

You're my friend! I was missing you. [relaxing a little, and rubbing the back of his neck absently] And thinking it was gonna be pretty sweet once we were in school again, so I wanted to make something what reminded me of how much I like you. [beams]

Me? What's there to be worried about me? [wiggles his fingers and kicks one foot lazily up onto the seat next to Arthur] I be fine as fine!

That doesn't really alter the fact that you were about to cut yourself off from everyone just because of a.. Oh, never mind..

[He flicks the back of his hand against Gamzee's foot and looks away from him]

... I just don't like everyone being all mad at me. [looking down at his knees briefly] I didn't mean to make you all be worrying. I knew I'd be seeing everyone ...

I have a cell phone. [His dad's a Muggle, Tony. He takes the card, frowning faintly, looks at it, then hands it back a little uncomfortably. It's not as though gamzee's poor - his dad makes decent money - but that kind of ostentatious wealth is pretty weird to him.] Tony, I can't be all taking that ... anyway, it don't matter, we're at school, now.

[Arthur chews on his lip. His first instinct is to snap, but he knows Gamzee won't really understand why he's being shouted at. So, he's quiet for a few minutes, watching the countryside roll by. When he speaks, it's quiet]

Oh. [Yeah, he guesses that's true. The lanky boy sits up and leans over, grabbing Arthur's hand and squeezing it unselfconsciously, like boys just do things like this all the time.] Then thank you. But I'm really okay.

[She nodded at the question, smiling a little at Feferi's exasperation] Yea, I'm sure she'll come around. Purrobably just wants to catch up with her friends as well.

I hear siblings can be like that though. It's each other's duty to look after the other, especially the older ones.

[By which she means, that's the ideas she's grasped from books. And she's completely aware of the twisted Vantas family tree, but from what she heard Karkat was coming to accept his surrogate family so sister seems perfectly acceptable.]

Well I'm not surprised Ms Meyer didn't get extremely upset with that. She doesn't seem like the most relaxed one. Though she's nowhere near as bad as Anne Rice. She has extremely strict rules on all fanworks.

Feferi! Hello! And not much, just making sure everyone and everything gets on correctly.

Yes, quite well! I'm all the family she has really has in family these days, with my grandfather passing away a few years ago. So I know she gets lonely while I'm at school, but for once, her long hours at work is coming in handy. And I write weekly to her, which I believe helps.

Yes... I knew that much. Quite a few students were injuryed, some more severly that others. [Including her baby sis. Not that anyone knows that they are indeed sisters] It was probably best to have not been there I suppose.

You are,. Aside from those who are cruel to others, though a sharp word can often be the least they deserve. And I'm sure you'll do your best. Mr Stark is a hard one to hold back, even the Headmaster knows that.

Oh I hope so too. Twilight might even surprise me, and agree that I was in fact the best choice. I suppose either way she 'll just have to accept it.

That's true. You could probably check laer, most of us are very relaxed with our compartments. Perhaps I might even be able to sneak you into the Prefects carriage, my compartment is on the other side after all. And flying by plane seems exciting. Do they really serve food, and show movies? Broomsticks are okay, but it can often be uncomfortable, and it is usually quite windy, so I wouldn't consider them a method of travel for long trips. Apparation and Portkeys can be much faster, and the discomfort isn't as long. And many use Floo these days.

Do you know what you did try? [thinking... Dave... and these shades. Peering at] May I ask if you're a Strider then? You share some familiarities with both Professor Strider and David, and you have the shades.
