WHERE: Any and all of Diagon Alley
WHAT: There is a huge festival the whole week to let students get school supplies. People from all over are flocking to Diagon Alley for the best deals. That means you might meet new people or see old friends!
STATUS: Ongoing!
NOTE: Remember that this event is semi-open! Any HP AU character can have fun here, whether you're in the game or not, so have fun! If you missed the rush for the first log, here's a second chance to have fun, and start some of that September plotting!

Well if you're going to dress up like a library you might as well completely cover yourself for the full effect.

[She gives him a sweet smile]

I'm not dressed like a library. I'm just.. carrying books.

[He tilts his head forwards and catches the book deftly as it slides off]

[She claps softly at his catching]

Clearly Hogwarts is wasting your time, you should clearly be in a circus.

[She gives a slight smile before moving to read all the titles]

Are you going to even have time for half of these?

Maybe not, but you can be bloody sure that if I don't have them, I'll run out of things to read.

[He shifts the weight of the books under his arm]

Better too many than not enough.

We do have a library in school. And I'm sure auntie could always send you more.

[She reaches up and takes a few of the books off him so he has less to hold.]

You wont even have room for clothes if you keep this up.

[Not that she can talk.]

I can never be sure of the books in the library. Some of them bite.

[He scowls faintly, but lets her take some of his books]

Now you're just exaggerating.

I've never been bitten by a book. Maybe you've just been rude to them.

I never exaggerate, you're starting to have as many books as me. It's almost a concern.

Almost? I hardly see how the gathering of knowledge can be seen as a concern in any context. Don't you think you're being just a little dramatic?

It's a concern when you have things in your life that barely respect each other let along other peoples things.

[She gives him a faint smile.]

Now why would I ever feel the need to be dramatic?
